Swing in room was fun but poorly placed as it kept hitting the wall. Concierge woman was overly familiar and chatty, and in 2 minutes told us about her partner status, her weight and more... this is too much information. She promised to send up soda water which never came. We had to ask a couple of times the next day. Lovely views and breezes. There were also no coffee pods for the coffee machine but there was creamer. The pool was dirty when we arrived and had some sort of paper clogging the drain system. There were no towels for the kitchen. We ran out of toilet paper for one of the bathrooms. "Fortunately our stay was just as a stopover from faro to Lisbon. I wouldn't have wanted to stay much longer. Outside it's badly maintained, it definitely looks better in the picture.
The AC was pretty poor."

"The Quinta Amala was an amazing place. The location with the view over the landscape with rice fields and pine woods was beautiful. Each cabana, house, had privacy and were souronded by beautiful plants and flowers. Beautiful architecture of the houses, the pool area, lounges and dining room.
We felt close to nature, silent and relaxing.
The food was also very good, including the breakfast with local food.
The staff were all very nice and helpful and made us feel welcome and well taken care...

"This is such a unique and comfortable stay at an unforgettable turismo rural! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming to me and my dog. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The location with the animals was a different and fun experience. The location close to beachfront site sites and the towns of Porto Covo and Sines could not be beat. I highly recommend!"
