Best hotel in Sitges

Pros: Quiet and attentive service. Excellent a la carte restaurant.
Cons: Starting to show signs of wear in the bedroom. Will need an update within the next few years.
Location: Sitges has great atmosphere

I had such a great stay at the dolce I just booked a stay for next month, for the film festival, the hotel staf was fantastic and the spa is lusurious.... It's a treat

Nice hotel but

Nice hotel but up the hill a 5-10 minute drive Into town and hard to park

great staff, beautiful pool, great view,

Very nice hotel. Incredible staff! Good breakfast, lunch menu a bit limited, but great fish. Dinner too expensive, extremely small portions. A quiet oasis high above the super busy town of Sitges. Pool area fantastic, rooms great and clean. One issue is transportation: they have a shuttle to the Terramar beach (not really exciting) that only starts at 11 am, is often too full, so you have to wait, and has a two hour break from about 2:30 pm. They don't have a shuttle to the town center, so you spend a lot of money on cabs. Other than that the Dolce deserves its five stars

5 star prices but not 5 star quality!

Pros: The view of the sea at breakfast.
Cons: Reduce prices of food and drink. Improve quality of food (bland). Shuttle service into town needs to become flexible and reliable. More entertainment.
Location: Location is peaceful with views of the sea on one side and a very nicely manicured golf course. There is nothing to do nearby. Town too far away.
Disappointing. Had booked 5 star hoping for a 5 star experience but sadly not the case. The hotel is a little sterile in parts (overly corporate in feel) and somewhat dated. Tired even. Rooms Ok, but no wow factor. The food in all 3 restaurants is bland and way overpriced. Even simple dishes were badly executed. Cold chips, tasteless burger, all served in a polystyrene box, whether dining in or out of the poolside cafe bar. The 'all you can eat' evening buffet at 35 euros per head was a huge let down. Volume wasn't an issue but quality and taste was. Drinks were extortionate - 16 euros for a G&T, 4 euros for a tiny bottle of water in the mini bar, 10 euros to deliver a glass of wine to the room (excluding the cost of the wine!). They even charge to use the snooker table. Location is peaceful and picturesque but is a long way from the town, so you've really no option but to pay for a cab (around 20 euros return) or hire a car. The shuttle service the hotel offers only operates during the day at allocated times, although this is very hit and miss. Furthermore the drop off point is at the remotest end of Sitges, at least a mile from the action. Try walking that in 28 degrees carrying beach towels etc etc. And the shuttle service offers no deviation from the rules. Having run out of cash one day and therefore unable to pay for a cab, I asked the shuttle driver if he could help out by dropping me nearer the town/ close to a ATM but he refused. Now thats bad service!

Excellent location and relaxation

Situated on a golf cause with spa, Dolce overlooks Sitges, just a short taxi or shuttle bus ride away. Stunning views of the area. Large pool complex, means you never feel overcrowded. Huge breakfast buffet and excellent choices for food during the rest of your day. Themed evenings means a huge variety, with live music too Cannot recommend Dolce Sitges highly enough for a relaxing vacation.

Nice hotel for families

Pros: setting, location, staff, gym / spa
Cons: better food choices for vegetarians
Location: location is peaceful and only a short journey to centre of Sitges.
Great location and setting. Staff are great. Food very nice but pricey - not good for vegetarians!

Perfect place to relax

The pool area is stunning, with bean bags to help you to completely relax. The main entrance and sitting areas are also very comfortable but slightly corporate in feel. Breakfast had a wide selection and the service was good throughout. The only negatives were the room size was small compared to other superior rooms we have stayed in. In the bathroom, the shower area was above the bath and the grouting was mouldy in parts. The walk into Sitges was perfectly doable, about 35 mins and the town is great to walk around.
