Apartment was clean and in good condition. The only problem is that you have to pick the keys up at no so near place (almost 15 minutes walk)
Will not go back.accomodation was very nice good size and plenty of plugs.quite modern. But the noise was constant.have came back from vacation needing one.pool looks great but only 10 sunbeds for over 100 appartments.wifi was non existence as password i was given came up as incorrect. Transfer i booked with reception for 4am did not show up.great if you have uncontrollable kids who like to scream and run around day and night

Firstly the process to actually get into the apartment is ridiculous and this should be made clearer before booking!
You have to collect the key from a hotel 1.4 miles away!!
I then had the pleasure of the guy on reception who scoffed at me when I said I was here to pick up apartment keys… ‘check in you mean’… well no actually, I am here to pick up keys, I am not checking in here am I when the place is a mile away!
We booked a family room but I DO NOT recommend any family stay here.
The place is grotty… it STINKS of smoke (despite the listing claiming non smoking). I didn’t even hang my clothes in the bedroom it stank so much.
Air conditioning didn’t work (again despite it being listed as an amenity)
And finally… we literally did not sleep a wink! Shouting, partying and furniture being dragged around ALL NIGHT! Oh and a drunk man also trying to get into your room doesn’t make you feel the safest!
Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else… it’s not even cheap!
Good quality accommodation, reasonably priced. Nice to have pool on site and close to excellent beach. Helpful staff at hotel at check-in

Has potential to be a fab place but let down massively but poor communication and facilities.

The check in process was the worst I have ever experienced. That being said by a gold level client. Checkin is half an hour away from the apartment. With a further half hour wait because of lack of staff. Once we checked it, it was a basic apartment clean and close to the nearest beach. Half an hour walk to the center of Sitges.
We would recommend the apartment. But plan for a long checkin.
It’s basic but fine. No air conditioning which I knew and is fine in May but in the heat of August I’d say it’s a must. Also tie the single beds together somehow if your a couple and want to be close. Free safe which is bonus. 10/15 min walk to town centre.
The apartment was very spacious and very clean. Only a 10 minute walk from the centre of sitges. The downside was the very noisy and inconsiderate neighbours we had one night who woke all staying at the apartments at 5.30am for 2 hours.
Check in was a nightmare, arrived late, but it was advertised that the reception was open till 12 midnight, though what we weren’t told was that we needed to travel a couple of miles to another hotel to get the keys!! When we got there the man on reception was pretty ignorant and upon explaining the inconvenience he just said ‘ok’
One small space heater that didn’t work well. As a result, I was cold most of the time in the room. Was given the room and check out requirements in Spanish while they knew I was English. Was not given the WiFi code while a friend in an adjacent room was given it.

To far from anything in the area car needed ??
The apartment it's self was well presented but let down by so much. You have to go 3km or 1& half miles to check in. And when one of your party is 89 years old and disabled not good. But we had a private transfer car so was able to collect at the Hotel Sunway playa golf. Once we got in there so much wrong with it. it was on the first floor not the ground floor !. And two sets of concrete stairs Why. only one bedroom with a huge wardrobe but no where to hang any long cloths. The kitchenette only had a two ring electric hob no oven but a small combi oven which was dangerous to use as it was to high in the unit. Only one coffee making machine so we had to buy a toaster & Kettle at 80euros. And because the complex is located in the middle of know where getting food is a problem as it is 4 & half Km away from a good supermarket. Its advertised as having a store on site ! and there isn't. Free Wifi advertised by expedia was only minus 1 Mbps ? This is our first time here and our last expedia needs to be up front about the lack of facilities had we stayed at the 4 * hotel Sunway playa golf it would have been cheaper where the store is and the free wifi ?. Noisy guest's became a problem when a group of 10 to 13 years old turned up (adult supervised) and took over the complex. And after ten days of putting up with this we were glad to get home. Unfortunately there is no supervision from the hotel this needs looking at. 1 porter that's it. not the best for lots of reasons

Totally rubbish apartment block.
Downstairs apartment on opposite side to photo of pool withNo balcony or place to sit outside, was difficult to have door or window open because w were on the walkway around the building, I like to sit outside and read if I wake early but we were confined to room with nowhere to sit outside .and need air conditioning .the Pool only has about 4/5 sun beds all of which are very uncomfortable as heavy people have been on them and they completely dip in the middle. A mattress put over the top didn’t enhance the comfort at all. Every time we went to sit near to the pool there was never any where to sit so didn’t bother, not what you want when on holiday, I realize the Dance World Cup was on whilst we were there so a lot of children in the apartment blocks but no need for children to be racing around squealing at 11.00 at night regardless of notice to say no noise after 10.00pm. There was no towel change at all .. the towels should have been changed it is un hygienic to keep using the same towels, the only place to dry them was on a clothes airer in the room and who wants that whilst on holiday. We paid well over £700 for the room and we were very disappointed... had it not been that we had come to watch our granddaughter dance and didn’t have much time to mess about we would have asked to be moved. Totally unsatisfield customer !!!L
Not clean. Smelled awful. No toilet paper. Wifi doesn't work. I will not be back.

Check in was an absolute nightmare. You have to collect the keys from another hotel around 3km away so I had to leave my wife and walk 6km to get them. Then the key to the complex did not work so we had to wait for someone to come out before we could get in. There are no lifts, even though it is a relatively new building, so we had to carry our luggage up to the third floor. Room was spacious, clean and with good facilities. Wifi signal wasn't very strong in our room. Although we didn't use it, the pool looked good.
The Amapola apartments have been beautifully refurbished and are very modern looking with some good tech included (Bluetooth speaker, induction hob, good wifi, free keyless safe)
Not far from the beach and in a quiet area away from the noise of the town but close enough to walk to.
The pool is not heated, but that was fine for us Brits in late September.
One highlight is the availability of free bicycle hire that goes with apartment. This makes shopping and exploring so much easier.
The only problem is collecting the keys...a considerable walk probably even a taxi ride away . Apartment was clean and adequate for a few days holiday. Excellent location and lovely pool.

People did not respect hours of pool, music, nobody from the hotel controlled anything. So it was midnight and there were kids screaming in the pool and nobody cares...
Dates and unmodernised but clean apartments, set in well kept complex. The furnishings are old style Spanish ( heavy dark wood ) and not the most comfortable.
Nice quiet area though about a 15 minute stroll into the centre.
The hike to get the key was a bit of a nightmare especially with all your luggage and if you've had a long flight to get there.
But the pool was lovely and clean and the apartment had a nice balcony.
It's definately a 2* at best but reasonable value.
Horrible experience....i walked for miles..could not find it .finaly a taxi stoped.the end of town i gad to pick up key. And back to apartment...no fridge working.no tv working no caretarker... 20 min walk into town next shop restaurant..
Surges is a lovely town the location of the hotel was ideal to explore it all and the room was clean. However that was as good as it got!!! The check in situation is ridiculous nowhere when I booked on line did it mention they you had to check in 20 mins away. When you book it says there is 24 hour reception not at this property it's at the hotel. This could be easily remedied by placing a phone which links to the hotel reception. The walls are paper thin and you can here everything from the rooms around you so if you're a light sleeper don't count on getting any sleep! There is no air conditioning or even fans which is not great in summer. 3 old small towels were supplied so take your own. There's no kettle to boil water and the cable TV stated didn't have a remote! If hotel is ok for the locals or if someone wants something very basic as it does the job it certainly doesn't compare to any other apartments I have stayed in the past. I'd would have rather spent a little more and had all the mod cons!
When we arrived at the apartment there was a notice on gate saying Collect Keys from Sjunway Golf hotel which is about 20 minutes away. When I received confirmation why wasnt this mentioned as I could have got a Taxi direct to Sunway Golf. There was no taxis available in the vacinity of Apartments and it necessitated dragging the luggage all the way to collect Keys. The room was never cleaned for the whole week we were there nor were the towels changed even once.I thought this was really bad service.The Minimarket on the Grounds was closed and the nearest supermarket was in the town centre which was 30 minutes walk away.I think it was ludricous that the minimarket was closed as there were 3 blocks of apartments on the grounds.On the day of leaving there was nowhere to leave the luggage until our flight which was at 9.30.pm. We had to vacate the apartment at 10am.. There were only six sunbeds by the pool? It was a total disaster. I would never recommend this apartment and I most definitely would not stay there again

Nice place, poor management.
Our stay was very pleasant, however there are a lack of any local amenities in the immediate area - shops etc - and the onsite "minimart" was closed. The Checkin desk is at another complex which is a 20 minute walk away, which is clearly highly inconvenient.

Overall experience is - good
Nice place but lacks heating/air condition in a cooler months like on this occasion in April. (I guess that comes with the price)
The apartment was clean and spacious although basic with older but functional furniture.
Staff is very helpful and courteous. Thank you all!
Apartments surroundings is clean and well maintained. Overall cleanliness is of very high standard.
Wi-Fi does work(officially it doesn't) in living room - when it works at all. A server interruptions/cut offs are regular on Fridays and Saturdays (High volume traffic?...It is not clear, why.)
The main problem is the sound insulation e.g. late arrivals can be heard a lot (let alone parties...)
So, if you are 'nice' furniture, 'cosy' or 'kitsch' interior, please go to 4/5 star apartments.
If you are on budget - this place is more than good.
Overall experience is - good.

Hotels.com does not inform you appropriately - they lack detailed description of the apartment(s). Is it deliberate?
As well, if you ask Hotels.com for any information beside the ones on the webpage re. apartments - they have no slightest clue...poor service.
Was a little surprised at the lack of air conditioning or even a fan, and trying to get to grips with the kitchen was interesting (the oven had two settings - on and off). The furniture was dated but pretty clean. It's appropriate for the price, but not a gem by any means.
We've stayed at these apartments for a number of years and they have always been very comfortable. The accommodation is fairly basic (eg no air con but we've never needed it in June) but very clean. The cost reflects this - its a very reasonable cost for a week's stay. The location is great - very quiet residential area and only 3 mins walk to the seafront and a leisurely 15 mins walk to the town/restaurants, bars etc via the seafront. Unfortunately, there were some noisy guests staying at the apartments for a few days during our stay - but once we complained to the owners the noise abated. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone - just be prepared to register at the offices/hotel which is at the furthest end of the promenade - we usually get a local cab when we arrive and then get it to wait for us while we register then take us onto the apartment. Enjoy!

A little disappointing
Apartment hotel. Little or no maid service. Check in is at a sister property about a mile away. This information should be displayed a little more prominently. Was hidden near end of information & did not find it 'til after I got home. Info said 4 beds, should have said sleeps four! Fold down bed in living room would have been siutable for kids but not for adults.Building was nice with a good pool area but would not stay here again!
First off, you don't check in at the site but at another hotel about 3 km away. Luckily the cab driver knew this so I wasn't stuck outside with no access. (the hotel looked fabulous!) the apartment was dirty, noisy and there was no one around to take care of the units. Very noisy and they expect you to clean the unit before you go but don't supply anything to clean with.

Overall not a bad hotel, nice location although no facilities close by so you need to walk about 15 minutes to shops. Only downside is you here everything at night in the other rooms so it can be very noisey sometimes.
Muy buen apartamento, nos encantó, la única pega que puedo decir es que faltaban cosas básicas como trapos, luz en la cocina, utensilios para cocinar, y cosas para cocinar básicas como pueden ser sal, azúcar o aceite.
Deberían de comunicar con más claridad qué el check in es en el hotel a 20 cuadras del alojamiento. Por que lo que nos pasó fue que fuimos al lugar directo y tuvimos qu trasladarnos de nuevo y a otros chicos tmb les paso lo mismo y el hotel no se hace cargo de recibir la queja y al final la página expedía tampoco y como usuario te sentís desamparado por que nadie recibe tuu queja ni siquiera la persona que tenes en frente en el hotel se quiere hacer cargo de la situación. Y mandar una queja por mail es lo mismo que la nada te van a decir disculpas y nada más nadie repone el mal momento que pasamos yendo de un lado al otro cansados queriendo llegar al alojamiento de una vez. No recomendaría esta página para hacer reservas ni tampoco el hotel.
