Choose another hotel

This is a trashy LaQuinta hotel. The rugs in the room are filthy. I kept my socks on! The bathroom and bed looked clean. The fridge didn’t work. The clientele is of questionable nature. We stayed one night out of 3. We found a much nicer hotel, felt safe and clean at the other hotel and checked out early from LaQuinta. Not the same quality as other LaQuinta we stayed at in Phoenix.

Get away for a couple of days

Older hotel Outside corridors. Hotel is wedged between busy roads and freeway. Rooms are must and smell Carpets, well I think they originally had some color to them. Our was a mixture of browns. Hotel staff aloud people to cut in front of me when I was trying to check in. Hotel advertised breakfast, more like continental, if you get there in time. Seating for breakfast is minimal. My in laws swear by this chain, I can’t see why from this experience. Note to self for future.

Smoking room

Paid in advance for a a room with two queen size beds. Got delayed on my arrival but still figured the room would be available since it was paid in advance. When I showed up I was told the toom type was available but the only ones they had left were smoking rooms. I tried to stay there but the smell of smoke was too strong and it was impossible to stay there. The person in the lobby tried really hard to find us a room but was only able to put us in a room with 1 King Size bed which was not enough for our needs. Would probably not stay here again

Location: GLowzone in Huntington beach -good family fun
Good experience. Very pleasant front desk staff and other staff were very cordial. Comfortable room. Breakfast was nice and satisfied our needs.

Next to Freeway. Loud. Inexpensive

Old hotel...update or replace

Nice lobby. Old, outdated. Small rooms. Stained carpets and bed spread. Limited breakfast compared to other la quinta hotels. Friendly staff could be better communicaters.

Do yourslef a favor and stay somewhere else

The room looked as if it hadn’t been tended to in a very long time. The table had two very loose legs that made it difficult to use and several of the outlets were broken. The paint was cracking quite a bit and there was a large light gap in the door that allowed noise and light from the directly adjacent freeway into the room. The carpet was worn and looked dirty in some areas. Just to make matters worse. A $75 hold was added even though I had paid in full for my stay in advance. I understand having a card number for incidentals but actually holding a fee (which I still have not seen returned several days later) seems a bit shady
