Nice enough.........

Posted Sep 23, 2017
This motel is in a great location, right off the freeway. However the first night I could not sleep because of the freeway noise. Second night I must have gotten used to it, slept great! And when we checked in our t.v. did not work. Turns out it was just a bad electrical socket. Breakfast was mediocre.

Thank you for comments regarding your stay. We are sorry to hear the bed in your room was uncomfortable. I advised our housekeeping department to report bad mattresses so they can be replaced before renting the room to our guests. Thanks again for your comments. We hope to see you again soon.

Too close to freeway.

Posted Sep 17, 2017
The hotel is too close to the freeway that you can hear the vehicles passing by the whole night. The room needs renovation specially the bathroom.

Inexpensive Costa Mesa Hotel

Posted Sep 10, 2017
Pros: Location was good.
Cons: A/C needs to be upgraded. Better extermination in the rooms for unwanted insects.
Location: In the heart of Costa Mesa
A/C worked, but was impossible to get room temperature at a satisfactory level. We found bugs in the room on multiple occasions.

Customer Service

Posted Sep 5, 2017
Pros: the customer service
Cons: cleanliness of the rooms, DETAILING!
I stayed at this Hotel for 3 days and I noticed a small leaking in the bathroom, noting mayor, by the last day the leak was a major issue, literally I have to throw a couple towels, So I noticed as this point that the leak was coming from the ventilation system, along the water leaking was some rust. When I went to check out I explained the situation to the lady at front desk, and she apologize for that, but she mentioned also that I have to mentioned early. But I explained that the room services crew has know when something's not right at the rooms, any way she find out that the room above mine indeed has a mayor leaking. She was very gracious to gave me a discount for the incident ( I really wasn't looking for that) but she took our complaint seriously, and try to made the whole experience better.

Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear there was water leaking into your room. This is something our room attendants should have reported and I’m sorry we dropped the ball on repairing the leak during your stay. I’m glad the front desk was able to assist and tried to rectify the situation by offering a discount. I shared your comments with our cleaning staff to ensure they are cleaning all of our rooms in detail. Thanks again for your comments. We hope to see you again soon.

Decent Hotel For Price

Posted Sep 5, 2017
I booked 1 king size bed with Expedia. When I checked in and got to my room they gave us two full sized beds. I went back the lobby to ask what happened and the air conditioning was broken in their last king sized room which was understandable however I wish they told me upfront when I initially checked in. The bed was comfortable and the room was average size. Parking was difficult later in the night. They do provide a continental breakfast for their guest which was nice. However the lady who was working the breakfast to restock stuff was very rude. She would yell at customers, talked down to them and made them feel stupid and not to mention she makes passive aggressive comments. It was so upsetting not on to watch but experience first hand. Whoever she is, she definitely needs more guest service training. Overall the stay was decent for the price we paid and I would recommend as a last resort.

k you for your review. I’m sorry to hear our last king bed wasn’t available and you had to stay in a double. I’m happy the bed was comfortable and you enjoyed our breakfast. I have spoken to our breakfast attendant and shared your comments with her so she understands what we do affects our guests and their stay. Thank you for bringing this to our attention so we can ensure other guests do not experience the same. Thanks again for your comments. We hope to see you again soon.

Needs attention

Room smelled terrible--probably mold. Carpets needed to be replaced. Very noisy on Saturday night. The La Quinta in Santa Ana is much better, if you have a choice. Excellent oatmeal, however.

Stressful

Posted Sep 3, 2017
Stressful as our payment (debited immediately upon conclusion of booking online via Expedia. Then upon checking in, our reservation was not found for over an hour. Other than that in convenience, love the place post remodel...and the breakfast of course.

Thank you for your review. I’m happy to hear you love our property and our breakfast. I’m sorry for the inconvenience you experienced having to wait over an hour for your reservation to be found. I’ve spoken to our font desk staff and reminded them of procedures they can take to locate reservations that may not have entered our system from 3rd party vendors. Thanks again for your review. We hope to see you again soon.

Ok location

Posted Sep 2, 2017
Directly next freeway. Freeway side rooms very noisy. Very small breakfast room and not enough seating for a hotel this large. Old and tired could use a major refresh.
