Old, needs work, update. Window curtains with holes. Furniture beat up, walls dirty/stained. Outlet to charge electronics limited/inconvenient. Toilet lighting is poor. Stayed in Ibis different location before, this property is not the one to stay in. The staff was great!! All the credit to them!!

It’s fair to say the hotel is a little dated, the service is good and rooms comfortable. The town of Braga is ideal for a weekend away short break with good shopping and fun g available.

Best Hotel for bus station
The room was typical IBIS, basic but perfectly reasonable. Only complaint was that plug sockets were not near the bed. I had a 3m cable so it was okay, but bear in mind if you like to lounge in bed with your phone. About a 10 min walk from the start of the old centre. Conveniently close to the Braga bus station.

The room was very spacious with fantastic views of city and surrounding mountains from 4th floor. The hotel is very convenient short walk from old city and all central city facilities and 5 min in taxi to station. Breakfast was rather spartan with no prepared food and very little to choose from in buffet.

Budget no frills hotel in very good location
Typical Ibis. Low cost hotel in very good location but minimal amenities. Carpark ridiculously small, we parked at underground public Carpark nearby and 6 euros for 24 hours. If you are only staying for 1 night and want to be very near town then this is ok. Very low cost so good for the budget friendly.

The main things to recommend this hotel are price, cleanliness and location - which is a pretty good combo for budget travellers. The hotel is well located for the town centre, bus station and also the football ground. Less so for the main rail station though it’s not too far. Quite honestly the bulk of the hotel looked like it hadn’t been redecorated since the early 1990s, but the room was absolutely spotlessly clean and adequately equipped (except for a lack of power sockets near to the bed). Staff were efficient although not especially friendly. I didn’t have breakfast myself, but the range of meals on offer in the basic downstairs eating area pleasantly surprised me. All in all, this place is functional and a bit dowdy, but good if you’re on a budget.

Best hotel in central Braga district.
We love IBIS hotel in Braga. Not only the location but the staff is so friendly and helpful. We are also lucky to get the upgraded room on the top floor with the great view of central district of Braga. We definitely recommend this hotel to friends and relatives and of course to other tourists who come to Braga. Here are some good tips : the bus station and the train station is in the walking distance. The farmer market right at the corner of the hotel open on Thursday and Saturday morning with a lot of produce and fresh flowers for sale early in the morning hours. Visit Braga and stay at this IBIS hotel, folks. You will not disappoint it.
