"I have reached out to Treasure Island twice re this issue. My daughter is visibly physically disabled and in a wheelchair. We went to the Lagoon w her adapted swim float modified for her needs. After about 30 mins of swimming w her in the Lazy River, and me having my hands around her at all times, we were approached by 2 staff members asking for us to use their tube for my daughters safety. I let them know her tube is safe for her, they stood looking at us w the tube they wanted her to use and said again it's for her safety. I have never had anything like this happen before.It is not easy getting our daughter in and out of a tube and water. So my husband said yes, we'll try it. We unstrapped our daughter from her tube and put her into TIs tube, she slid out, there was no way to strap her in and I couldn't support her body because it sat higher out of the water in a large tube. My husband tried putting her in again and she stiffened up her back and was obviously very uncomfortable. So we felt we were not able to use her floating device so we felt we had to end our family swimming time. I have reached out to Treasure Island by filling out their survey and also sent an email explaining what happened while at the Lagoon to them with no explanation of why this happened. This was the first activity we did after checking into our rooms, so it definately upset the entire family and mood for the rest of our stay. Was a very disappointing stay "

"Had overall a good stay here.The shower was a highlight and the room was clean and the bed comfortable. The biggest gripe we had was parking. At $25 a night, converted to our currency we ended up paying $100 for our time there. It was ultimately an oversight on my end as I should have dug deeper in the amenity details but the cost is significant. The area doesn't appear extremely safe so we didn't want to park off property. We also ended up paying more than Expedia quoted in our booking and weren't given a reason why. The negatives were minimal - noisy footfall from the guests above, the bedframe light switch was stuck and didn't work, the wifi was unusable which was frustrating as using roaming on our cellphones cost a lot extra. There was only a thin blanket on the bed and very flat small pillows but we were too tired/not at the hotel enough to track down a staff member for extra bedding."

"The room was impeccable, the location and access to the Skywalk was fantastic. That said, I did have an issue when I stopped by the front desk to have them validate my parking pass for come-and-go privileges, there were two employees standing at the front desk, each behind a computer. One was helping a couple check in and the other, Tommy, was standing there at attention, seemingly available to help, no signs or anything that he was unavailble. As I walked up he saw me and said “Come on, Bro…really?” Confused and thinking he was kidding or joking around, I handed him my parking ticket, and asked if he could validate it (a process another in my party did the prior day with ease, just told them his room number and they scanned the ticket.) Tommy begrudgingly took my ticket and mumbled to himself. At this point I realized he wasn’t joking, and somehow my request had annoyed him. I told him I could simply wait for the couple checking in next to me to finish and I could have his coworker help me if he needed be somewhere else, but he just replied “No point, I’ve already started”. He asked my room number, scanned the ticket, and I was on my way, it was as simple as could be, but was an odd interaction to say the least."
