Come stay at Village Garden!!

Posted Nov 20, 2017
The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. I am especially pleased that they remembered that all my family was in town for a funeral. The grounds are lovely and the rooms very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is nice and the shower water pressure very good.

We will be back

Posted Nov 17, 2017
Pros: See above.....
Cons: Don't allow attitudes to answer the phone, and don't tell us you re booked up if you're not.....
Location: Location is great and has its own horticultural tour - close to freeway and other activities in town.....
Very welcoming staff - apologized for one bad apple on phone when we tried to book a package and were told none available, which was not true. However, everything else was great - on-site restaurant has good food and attentive servers, lounge is comfortable and offers entertainment. If you're travelling, this is a great spot to settle in and have a great evening.....

The hotel is a bit dated but very comfortable.

Posted Nov 4, 2017
Pros: The grounds here are beautiful. The gardens are amazing.
Cons: Lighting
Location: Lots of activities near here, Hike brice Creek, Go Wine tasting, Golf
If I could change one thing about this hotel it would be the lighting. I like to read and it was too dark for me to see without taking off the lampshade. Other than that it was a great stay

Dated

Posted Sep 11, 2017
Pros: Gardens were well groomed.. Good food.
Cons: Friendly staff and cleaning supplies. Replace roofs.
Location: Location was good
Looks like a barn. Roof's on all units rotten, Not enough soap and towels, More maintenance spent on gardens than on décor of rooms. Staff in lobby not very friendly,

I was able to book the last room at the hotel as everything else in the area was sold out. I was desperate to find a room at the last minute. I would only return if I was in a similar pinch situation. The hotel is in need of some updating and repairs.

This was once a very fine place, but it needs an up-do. Staff was friendly and the yard workers were out there, so there is hope.

Old structure , clean , nice pool . Paper thin walls woke up to blasting tv next door at 530 am .

It was good. I enjoyed living there. Quiet but the only concern is it's too close to outside. I felt people passing by can peek from the window. But I'm nit-picky.

Rooms need updating

Posted Jul 5, 2017 on Hotels
It has been a while since I have stayed at this hotel. Parts of it definitely needs some TLC. The gardens are still beautiful but was a bit disappointed in my room. I guess the standard rooms don't have microwaves or even a hair dryer. I was able to borrow a hair dryer from the front desk. The room was quiet, very dated, but not as clean as it could have been. Not sure I will stay again for the price I paid.

We found this Inn on our way down the I5 corridor. It was the only hotel open for miles and we were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it was. The room was big, the gardens were gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again.
