Ok Hotel, disappointing staff

The Hotel was clean. Noisy, very active all night. The staff was totally disinterested to almost unfriendly. We were told housekeeping may not show up and they were right. Even after being requested.

Not a good experience at all!

we arrived at the hotel nearly at night, after checking in, the staff referred us to a room in a mess, so I HAVE TO go back to the front desk and told her to change another room. That lady didn't apologize at all and treated us really indifferently as if it was our fault! The room space was OK, but there is a bad smell around and the quilt is really uncomfortable, not a good experience, except its great location....

Not bad but not worth the cost.

I've stayed in Extended Stay hotels before when I needed to stay 4 or 5 days. Because the price for renting this room was 5 times more than I'vd ever paid before, I expected something different. In fact, it was just like the others I'd stayed in with one exception. This hotel is only a block or so from Kansas City's Country Club Plaza. Nevertheless, I had too unusual experiences. The first was that a guest came out of one of the rooms with a German Shepard (dog). While waiting for the elevators it barked and then snapped at two children. About 30 minutes later having returned to my room for something, I had just closed the door to my room behine me when I saw the same German Shepard not on a leash, snarling and then break into a run. Later about 2 am, I heard someone at the door, looked and saw a young man trying to open the door with some kind of device. I yelled it wasn't his room and he went away, then called the front desk to alert them. 30 minutes later the same guy was still in the hallway trying to get into rooms.

Location: We were attending a wedding at the Country Club Plaza Christian Church, so we were close to it and the reception on Pennway.
We were close to our wedding and reception sites and the hotel was clean and staff was helpful for our short one night stay.

People were screaming up and down the hallway all throughout the night and the staff did nothing about it. The pillows and mattress were hard as rocks.

Good experience, other than a drunk guy walking through the hotel in the middle of the night being extremely loud.

internet not working

one of the lights were broken and the internet was not working. when i called the front desk to tell them about my inability to log on, they were inept and could not do anything.

horrible staff

I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights as we were attending an event in town. Arrived at hotel everything was fine, definitely not the nicest place, but fine. Woke up and went to event that we were in town for. Received a call in the afternoon during the event from the manager stating that we had 15 minutes to come back and clear out our room or they would do it for us! She tried to say we did not book one of the rooms for a second night and thus had to come back at once or they were going to remove our stuff! I tried to tell her that is not true but she said I HAD to come in and she did not have time to work it out over the phone. So we left our event, the whole reason for our trip to KC and made it back to hotel as fast as we could. When we arrived she was on the phone with expedia who confirmed that they were wrong and we did in fact have both room for both nights. Manager just shrugged it off like it was no big deal, sorry, not sorry. She ruined our whole trip for something she could have figured out before calling me and ruining our weekend. Very unprofessional.

I did not get the room that I wanted. They upgraded me to a king with a kitchen and did not provide me a coffee pot no coffee no Commodities like shampoo conditioner lotion toothbrush toothpaste Etc..
