“It's a quick little overnighter / road tripper's hotel in a fairly rural area. And they have it down. A perfect system --- it's clean, professional, has all the basics done very well. When we do serious travel, we generally do 4 and 5 star for the comfort, especially in Europe. But a quick overnighter on a road trip, with the full fam? Totally down with a very good 3-star. And these guys NAIL it. Well done! Pro Tip: Eat at the little Mexican joint in the Casino next door. It's nothing……

“Wanted to charge me $10 for an early check-in but didn't have a room ready for an early check-in and couldn't guarantee a room at 3:00 for checking. But our room was ready at 3:00 and didn't have to pay $10”

“Funky, with spirit! I love the fact that the new owners were up front about their investment in the older property and passionate about gradually bringing it up to speed. It’s a classic motel in need of care, which means in need of customers. The room was totally clean, easy access, and easy parking for a motorcycle. I’m sure I’ll stay again, as it’s on my US 50 route for road trips. Keep this one going!”

“It was not an easy night for me and my pup at the Bristlecone, unfortunately! Check in was easy and the front desk lady was friendly, and let me know of the nearby park! The room was spacious and clean, just the AC unit sounded like a train coming through, even though it was warm, I did not want to be bothering other rooms with the noise. The worst was being placed on the roadside corner room. It sounds like you are basically sleeping on the highway! Very sleepless and kind of scary night for……
