From the very friendly welcome at check in, through to equally friendly check out. All the staff are friendly and always smiling. The room was good, large, and comfortable. Breakfast absolutely excellent. Lots of choice, everybody's catered for. There's a couple of supermarkets close by. A pub at the top of the road, The Red Lion, and a well serviced bus to the city centre if needed. My only irritation was some other guests! Why people think it's ok to let their room doors slam, especially later in the night, equally annoying is the need to have loud conversations across the corridors. This is no fault of the hotel. This is just peoples ignorance. Overall though, I would recommend staying at the Holiday Inn. I will certainly stay again.

My stay was cut short due to my van getting broken into and all my tools stolen. I was parked under a camera close to the entrance. I understand hotel is not responsible for my vehicle but I still had to pay for the room on the last day. Didn’t think much of the hotel customer service. Hotel itself was lovely.

Hotel was nice, but being a Motorway junction hotel, not much in area understandably, but close enough to the Hospital for my purposes. Noise from televisions in neighbouring rooms could be heard, but I'm sure they could hear mine too, but other than that a very enjoyable stay with very nice food.

Good experience
At the Holiday Inn, the room was relaxing and comfortable. At first we were given what I considered as a tiny room and adjustment was made after we paid extra money to be moved to a much bigger room. The environment was neat but mini bar was empty, the breakfast was contented and delicious. Overall, our stay was good 👍

Pleasant but with some drawbacks.
Staff friendly amd helpful. Quiet room. Plenty of power sockets with usb. Wide choice of food for breakfast and dinner. Bed was rather small. Takes a long time to get hot water for a shower, which wastes water. TV was missing several channels .

This is an excellent hotel and we have stayed a few times over the years here and also a couple of months ago. We have family in Coventry and my partner is from here. Unfortunately this time there was an issue with the water which no one informed us about until I made a complaint. Hardly anything coming out of the shower or the sink and a long time before it became warm in the sink especially. We were here for a maternal funeral making it not a good time to have any issues. The bar and restaurant were great and Josh in the bar area exceeded expectations in his customer service making it a better experience. All in all worth staying at very peaceful and lots of space and facilities and food Can be ordered around the clock.

I have stayed in this hotel several times. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. I usually give 5 stars across the board but I gave 4 stars for condition and facilities because the toilet was difficult to the point of impossible to flush. On reporting it to the reception, I was informed that they already knew of the issue but ‘had not got round’ to sorting it. I feel that this was quite an important issue that should have been resolved in between guests.

On arrival phone and TV in room did not work, a member of staff arrived to fix the TV but could not do anything about the phone. Walls were paper thin, could hear our neighbours talking loudly until 4am. On departure I asked for a credit but was told nothing could be done as I had booked through Expedia. Not impressed!

Budget at its finest.
Took two members of staff 15 mins to check me in because they couldn't find me on the system. I've stayed here before and not paid for parking so being charged £10 a night was a shock. Friday night was noisy - 1am could hear loud music and people running around in the corridors. Neither bedside light worked.

Great location for access to the Coventry Arena. Hotel facilities good but looking tired and, in several public areas e.g. corridors, the carpet were threadbare, stained and in a state of general disrepair.

Nice property. It is advertised as having AC but it is really just a system that blows air. It was unseasonably warm while we were there so the room was a bit warm. The rest of the hotel was cool and you can open a window at night to cool your room while you sleep.

Great hotel
Easy to find. Disabled parking could be a bit clearer, but, found it. Guy on reception was very helpful. With super markets very close, was a perfect stay. Clean room as well. Overall a great hotel im happy to stay in again
