Amazing staff!

The staff was so amazing and helpful during our stay! Sherri at the front desk was amazing when we arrived. She was friendly and made us feel right at home. In the morning we had Yvette helping us with breakfast and she was so easy to talk too and we had a great time. The facilities are in good shape, and the lobby was clean and cozy. The complementary breakfast was a savior for our wallets and the coffee was good (important for us). There is a washer and dryer and vending machines which came in handy for us too. The walkability was amazing, the hotel is surrounded by restaurants and there's a Walmart close by too. Would def recommend the amazing staff here!

great travel experience

Aside from the construction, which wasn't a big deal to us, and minor problem with the ac, the stay was excellent. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were amazing, the room was clean and relaxing, and the small things, like the handwritten welcome note and the welcome binder that helped us find a great meal put it above the rest. The ac worked but the curtains covered it in a way that prevented it from cooling the room. We put the curtains on the window sill and that fixed it. We plan to stay again on our return trip.

The hotel was nice.

Cons: The hotel was under construction so there was that, but overall I have nothing to complain about.
Location: We were there for a family reunion so we didn't get out to look for other activities.
The hotel was a surprise. When we arrived and saw the outside, I thought, oh no what have I done! It was under construction and really looked like it was closed. But don't let looks fool you. They are remodeling and even though there was construction going on, the inside of the lobby was very nice, The room was great, very clean, and the staff was very professional. They had a full breakfast which was very good. My daughter and grandchildren enjoyed the pool very much and it was well maintained. I would definitely recommend it for not only a family but also a single person as well. Next time I go to Covington, LA, I will make sure to try and get a room there again.

Under renovation!

I had seen it was being renovated but underestimated the amount of dirt & debris I would have to walk through. That was unpleasant.

Pros: convenient
Cons: Better sheets and linens.
Refrigerator was dirty on the inside. The room was ok but needs to be upgraded.

Construction mess

This Best Western is under renovation and is a mess. The room was clean but the water in tub was slow to drain. Breakfast was underwhelming. Overall was a mediocre stay.
