Great location, awful rooms

This is the second time coming to this same hotel, and we wanted to give them another chance but we found out that we had the same bad experience this time. The air conditioning always felt like 80 degrees even though it was set up at 68 degrees. The bed and pillows were super uncomfortable. The front desk didn't have bills to change us $20. We paid the room in advance, and the only charge should be $26 for the valet parking. They charged us the $26 (ok - valet parking) + $20 (ok - blocked for incidentals and refunded next day) + $66 & $86 (Do not ok - don't recognized and refunded 3 days later), looks like playing with our money, and we do not like that. The valet parking guys were awesome and friendly, and the breakfast was just ok. Hopefully those issues get taking care of, but we will not come back again. There are so many other hotels in the area at the same.

Dear Rolfe, I am sorry to hear you did not have a great visit. All of our bedding is brand new this year, including mattresses. The only charges were only authorizations for incidentals on the room, the system automatically runs these, not my staff, and they are refunded if not used. Safe Travels! Jeff Kaplan General Manager

Lovely hotel on the Ohio River in Kentucky

Pros: Everything.
Cons: When we checked out, they were to email me a receipt and it was never received.
Location: In Covington, Kentucky on the Ohio River, there were lots of restaurants, shopping, cultural events and gorgeous architecture.
We enjoyed our stay of 6 nights very much. The room was a handicap accessible one and was beautifully done and very clean. The free breakfasts in the mornings were delicious as we sat by the windows overlooking the terrific views of the Ohio River and the City of Cincinnati. Hotel staff were excellent with lots of information and the valet service was great!

Loved our stay

The hotel went above and beyond our expectations. Loved the omelet bar for breakfast and the open bar during dinner. Room was clean. Staff was super nice and very helpful. We will definitely be back.

Very Smelly Place

Pros: Nothing it felt more like a Motel than a 4 star hotel.
Cons: Everything the Facility is old needs updating. Services needs to be more professional and engaging.
Location: Location is fine
This hotel is showing it's age, it smells starting from the garage all the way up and into my room. First they did not have my reservation it took 20 min to find it and check me in. I booked a King and got a room with 2 double. the room smell like BO, the AC was very noisy and it general fell scuzzy. The cocktail hr. Pathetic, free breakfast not impressive. The floor in the dinning area felt sticky like it had a layer of grease.

Pros: Location and the view of the city at night across the Ohio river.
Cons: The dining room floor needs cleaning.
Location: Everything is easy to get to by shuttle service or by walking.
Very good location, great staff, good breakfast, would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Great place to stay for a beautiful view o Cincy skyline and river. Comfortable rooms, caring staff and we love the free breakfast buffet!

Not so friendly

They wanted me to pay an extra 20.00 to get the room that I originally purchased, because they didn't want to honor the Expedia price that I paid . Spent 45 minutes on the phone with Expedia in order to get it straightened out. What a nightmare ! Seems like Hilton hotels are always trying to screw me .. and the heater didn't work . Hair in the bathtub . Bad experience.

Decent hotel, nice staff, but older hotel

Pros: Nice lobby, good staff, self parking for $10 a day, and great free breakfast
Cons: Just fixing up the small issues.
Location: The location was great to get on the trolley for $1.00. With a small walk there are some nice small restaurants nearby.
My stay was good. The room was a nice size with 2 televisions if needed. Only had a few problems. For the price I paid for the room, I expected nothing to be wrong with it. There was a crack in the sink and missing molding on the sink stand. Not a real big deal but still something I usually never see in a higher priced hotel. Also this is just my opinion, but better pillows. They were way too soft or did not have enough stuffing to get comfortable when trying to sleep. Self Parking was great. Liked that we did not have to spend a lot of money to be able to park like many other hotels. I would have liked a better view, but when I got reservations for the room months ago, the riverside rooms was not an option on Expedia like it is now.
