Great place to stay, close to the trolley

Posted Oct 2, 2017
Pros: Clean rooms.
The hotel was a pleasure to stay in. It is close to the airport and right across the river from Cincinnati. The room was spacious and clean. Another nice feature is that you are a block away from the city trolley. We also ate in the restaurant, the steaks were great. I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.

Low End Hotel....Breakfast Bar Was Good

Posted Sep 28, 2017
Pros: Location to where I needed to be
Cons: Rooms, Parking Lot Security
Location: Not a vacation destination....Covington. Nearby bars and fast food chains. Watch out for the thugs.
If it was updated it was only the restaurant up top. The rooms are in needed of overhaul (ie. 926). Toilet will not flush without holding down the lever. The shower is nice, minus the dusty vent directly above. The bathroom sink is okay. The bed is fine and the pillows are manageable. The real negative is the room noise. Not from traffic or anything outside it is the constant running of the air conditioner. It does not turn off regardless of setting or turning the switch to "off". The parking and location of entrance is a joke. It's a mugging waiting to happen. I will cough the extra $50 bucks next time to stay somewhere nicer....but its Covington. bahabaha!

Thank you for staying at the Radisson. We are very sorry you were not happy with your stay. I will definitely have maintenance check out that room for the items you mentioned. The air conditioner in most of the rooms is controlled by a wall thermostat, some of our guests are not aware of that but we will definitely check it out. As far as our area is concerned in the 4 plus years I have been here, we have never had a guest harmed and honestly there is very little violent crime in Covington. The city has done a pretty good job of cleaning up the area and there are regular festivals and carnivals across the street in the little German Village. We appreciate your feedback and hope you give us another try in the future.

Rundown near downtown

Posted Sep 17, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Updating, cleaning
First the positives: it is so conveniently located. Close to the cute main street of Covington, a 15 minute walk to either stadium, and free shuttles too if you don't feel like walking. Parking is free and easily accessible, and it is directly off the freeway. Now the downside: the rooms are rundown. Our toilet leaked, the remote was dead, the message light on the phone flashed with no messages, the walls were dirty with who knows what. That being said, its right on the cusp of being good and at the same time not being worth the money you're paying to stay there. It's tough because it is the most affordable hotel in the area, so it still brings us back. But if it continues to decline, or the rates increase, there are plenty of other options nearby that we will check out.

The hotel is in a great location if you want to be I think walking distance of a cute town and downtown Cincinnati. The hotel staff is beyond helpful. The rooms are in rough shap, despite having been recently updated. Mold around the tub basins, baseboards falling off, bugs smashed and left of walls and ceilings. It's hit or miss, but it's also the most affordable and conveniently located hotel in the area.

The ceiling in our bathroom partially fell. When I contacted the front desk manager all he said was sorry. They never came to fix it.

Tend to give you bad rooms and refuse to change

Posted Sep 8, 2017
Terrible Experience. The hotel is near the highway so it's super noisy. They gave us room 512, we wanted to change to a higher floor but they told me they are fully booked (which is not true), so we stayed there for 1 night, but it's too noisy and the air-conditioner and restroom was broken. Therefore we asked to change a room.At first, the reception told us that they are fully booked, so we treat them that we won't stay there. Then the reception told us there's a room.

We are very sorry you did not have a good experience at the Radisson. The rooms overlooking the city need to be booked that way and they fill up quickly but we should have found you a room where everything was right in the room. We are very sorry and we hope you give us another try in the future.
