An Unforgettable Night

Posted Jul 15, 2016
This is a magical place. I usually avoid bed-and-breakfasts, but decided to stay here, and boy am I glad. The antebellum home is warm and welcoming and it is the most comfortable bed (and finest sheets) I have ever found at a hotel/inn. My room, Frankly Scarlett, is on the first floor, and it was roomy, comfortable and spotless. While the room is decorated with antiques, the bathroom is state-of-the-art, with a wonderful shower. I am so sorry I only got to stay one night! I hope my travels bring me back there again one day.

best getaway

Pros: THE AREA IT IS LOCATED WAS GREAT PLACE IN THE HEART OF DOWNTOWN.
AT THE TIME OF ME BOOKING IT I DID NOT KNOW THE HISTORY OF THE HOUSE. WHEN I GOT THERE THE STAFF WAS NICE AND INFORMATIVE ABOUT THE AREA AND HOUSE.

Gorgeous Bed and Breakfast Close to Horse Park!

Posted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: Absolutely everything!
Location: The Inn is about 10 miles from the Georgia International Horse Park.
I LOVED this gorgeous Inn! Each room is decorated with antiques and beautiful furnishings. The bathrooms are sublime, have amazing water pressure and are decorated individually...no room seems to be the same! We had four different rooms and each was extraordinary! The breakfast was delicious and sourced locally...fresh and delicious with tasty coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice, all in a beautiful dining room with white tablecloths, a lovely crystal chandelier and flower arrangements of hydrangeas, roses and cotton stalks! The only thing that surpassed the Inn itself, was the charming staff! I felt like I was staying at a friends Antebellum mansion, we were made to feel so comfortable and welcome...they even packed a morning snack for those of us that had to be at the horse show early and they carefully catered to our gluten intolerance! This Inn does a fabulous job of the business of taking care of people!

Pros and cons

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Pros...Gorgeous classy B& B with fabulous staff. GREAT sleep...needs room darkening drapes. Cons: needs better seating in some rooms for comfort. Stayed in Sweet home Alabama...only comfortable spot was bed, tv too far away, dvd player locked up,alot, didn't want to be in too.much due to discomfort. No elevator. Lots of stairs hard when arriving and leaving.

MAGIC PLACE!

Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: Everything, specially our room ("The Salvatore Brother's Study")
Cons: Everything is perfect just the way it is
Location: Perfect location! Just a couple of minutes walking to the lovely Covington’s downtown square
My husband and I spent 2 nights there in August/2014 and we have just nice things to say about this place... INCREDIBLE!!! I stayed at "The Salvatore Brother's Study" room cause I'm a huge fan of Vampire Diaries, but I can guarantee that everyone would be amazed with any room there... you feel like you are back in time! The whole house is breathtaking, the breakfast is really great and the wine & cheese happy hour is perfect for the evening... We haven't meet Nicole, but John and another girls who works there were very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Australia is a loooong way to Covington GA, but we can't wait to go back and visit again! Paula & Marcel
