The place seems to be very dated and seemed much nicer in photos than in real life. While the service was ok, staff weren’t helpful when I told them I was unable to connect to wifi either in the lobby or the rooms. They just told me there wasn’t a problem and it was up. I struggled to connect my entire stay. The place seemed clean throughout, if a bit dingy from wear and tear. Chicken wings at the restaurant were about 90 pesos for four wings that were really just bones. We did not eat there again. It’s a safe, and clean place to stay. Just expected more for price and from the photos.

We stayed in one of the villas and it was clean and comfortable. New mattresses would be nice. I only had breakfast which was good. The food could be better. We don’t eat on property. The pool area could use a makeover but the grounds are very pretty and well cared for. The best part of this hotel is the staff. The service is so good and we have been coming for years and the same staff has been around for years. We adore them.

Compared to previous stays at casadelmar they have let the facilities go( no hot water every morning, when maid cleaned they failed to leave bew water , dry towels, toilet paper), no morning buffet and extremely limited menu to choose from after raising the price of the food plan $20. Staff at restaurant and hotel are always extremely friendly and helpful.

This property had easy access to diving and the beach. Nice warm pool with swim up bar. No elevator but needed the exercise. The people were extremely helpful and sweet. The food and drinks were very good also

Staff was excellent and food was fantastic. We had a medical emergency making us stay 1 extra night in Cozumel and they were kind enough to give us a late check out with no fee
