Great hotel that really caters to you!

Posted Aug 31, 2015
Pros: EVERYTHING!!!
Cons: Not one thing.
Location: Great and lots to do....
Easy check in and check out. Very attentive to your needs with a wonderful breakfast. We will stay there from now on. It's located on the main road and we had 2 wonderful patios with ocean view and a nice sized pation. It is located right downtown, but has no beach front which ws fine as we shopped, roamed and took taxi rides to a couple of great beach clubs. Snorkeling was a real delight....

Wonderful experience

Posted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: Everything!
Cons: WiFi was difficult to connect to. I know that there are problems with internet all over the island for some months, so not the fault of the hotel.
Location: Fabulous dinner at Buccano's at Night and days at their beach Club Cozumel Caribe. Dinners at Dorados de Villa, Rolandi's and Guido's.
I was very happy with my experience. Expansive, well appointed and very quiet room. The staff was very polite and accommodating. Great well stocked breakfast buffet. Likely the cleanest hotel I have stay at.

Pleasantly Surprised

Posted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: Close to town and walking distance to the ferry.
We had a slight problem with booking an ocean view and their records showed a city view....(keep your paperwork!). When we got to our room I was disappointed, but checked the booking and realized the mistake. It was rectified fairly quickly, but we did have to produce the booking, and it was an inconvenience. Very nice room overlooking the water. The corridors can be a bit noisy, and if you have a room that connects to the room next door, you may hear chatter if they are not the quiet type. Enjoyed the pool, but it happened to be a quiet afternoon. Because the hotel is centered around an interior style of architecture, the sound from the tiles magnifies the sound. We are quite picky travelers, so don't take any of these comments too seriously; just some things we noticed. The breakfast was good and in a pleasant part of the hotel. Close to the main square with restaurants, etc. Overall we really enjoyed out stay and would recommend, especially for the price.

Downtown Hotel in Cozumel

Posted Aug 21, 2015
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Reserve rooms as requested. If not possible notify person making the reservation.
Location: Convenient location. Requires a car or taxi to get to the beach clubs and to see the whole island. Many restaurants nearby as well as shops.
Booked two rooms with two double beds in each to be on the same floor and adjoining rooms as we were traveling with children. Booking made in May, 2015. These rooms did not exist as requested. We arrived in August as per our reservations and were put in room with a king bed and another with two double beds. The rooms were separated by another room which was occupied. There were six of us and the double beds were small. The gave us two cots, one for each room. The cots were very hard. It was apparent we were not booked as requested but instead were given what was available when we arrived despite our May reservations. It was very disappointing. We were offered the opportunity to move to the fifth floor after several days but the accommodations there were no better so we declined. Moving 4 children and adults wasn't worth the hassle. The desk staff took no responsibility but instead blamed the Expedia booking staff. After I complained and pointed out that there was no room configuration that fulfilled my request and that I should have been told that in May the desk staff was unfriendly toward me.

Great location in the middle of town

Posted Aug 12, 2015
Pros: Location
Location: Many restaurants and stores are walking distance, since the hotel is well located on the main street
The hotel is located in the middle of town, with easy access to restaurants, stores, ferry pier. There is no beach, and the hotel pool is very small and located in the lobby, but with ocean view. This location is pretty weird for the pool to be. The rooms are clean and simple. The rooms with ocean view are great as you have a balcony with chairs to relax and enjoy the view of the ocean and the ferry pier, and a little of the city. The rooms without view only have a window that overlooks the town and roofs. Breakfast has a good selection and is included.

Good town location, depends where you want to be

Posted Aug 12, 2015
Pros: Good central location just a 5 min walk from ferry terminal and main plaza. Large size rooms. Yum buffet breakfast. Cons: pool is really just a kiddies pool, only 3 m square. Only 5 deck chairs and when i aksed for a towel one day they said they needed my ID...despite wearing a wristband that identified me as a guest. The staff are quite ignorant to guests, not really rushing to any needs. Safe in the room needs a separate key requiring another deposit. Its really good if you want to be in town and somewhere cheap, but after explorng the island in scoiter i would recommend staying out near the snorkleling spots

Nice hotel in town

Posted Aug 12, 2015
Stayed here for a week. We had an ocean view on the top floor. The hotel is conveniently located right in town within walking distance to everything. There was an excellent breakfast every morning. I think it must be open to all Cozumelians because that place is packed with workers and Mexican families. Hard to get a table to eat at and we ended up taking our food back to our room. There are also two small dogs somewhere that bark frequently. Overall though it was a decent place. I would stay there again.
