Great, reasonably priced, friendly hotel in the heart of Cozumel.The rooms were comfortable, (we had an ocean-front/view room) and the housecleaning and front desk staff were wonderful.The team that worked together to provide the buffet breakfast each morning were simply amazing!

Stayed from Thursday to Sunday - in town with my partner and my daughter (she had her own room)) for a Quinceanera. Pros: The A/C worked. The location was great - was able to walk to most places I wanted to go and it was nice having the 7/11 steps away. I en Jo yes the view from my patio. Cons: The room was small. The bathroom was small. The water pressure was practically non-existent. The noise from breakfast in the morning was loud and prevented us from sleeping past like 7. The pool is tiny. To get a towel for the pool, you have to give your ID to the front desk and in order to get it back you have to return your towel to the front desk. There are only two towels provided in the room. No to-go cups for water or coffee. Never had breakfast there, so can’t speak to that other than the noise. Don’t find the staff to be overly helpful or accommodating. Overall, I won’t stay here again. I would prefer a condo or air BnB if I am going to stay in town.

Very loud early in the morning from the breakfast buffet. Water dripping from the ceiling from the AC that could not keep up. Horrible water pressure in the shower.

Great central location. An easy walk to almost everything. Large modern rooms with a great view Oceanside, worth the extra cost. Great breakfast buffet with eggs any way you want it and fresh fruit. Only negative was very poor wifi in the rooms and on the balcony. Extremely frustrating, otherwise a great place.

5 minutes walk to the hotel and absolutely Love it. Clean, customer service was great, bar was nice lady in the morning makes best margaritas and mojitos. Room was comfortable, clean and pretty. Pool was also nice and nice view. Free breakfast also has a variety and good food. We definitely recommended.

Coming from El Cozumeleno, this small hotel surpasses the nasty Cozumeleno. Casa Mexicana is extremely clean, with beautiful and immaculate modern rooms with pretty furniture and comfortable beds. The breakfast was outstanding and the service espectacular. Front desk personal very professional and friendly. The price is very good. I will stay here again and would be glad to recommend to friends and family.

WARNING The cleaning staff are very dishonest and will steal whatever they can! We had asked for a late checkout and had a Do Not Disturb sign on our door as we decided to take part of our luggage to our next hotel!! When we returned back to the room the cleaning staff went through bags that we had left, and helped themselves!! When we returned we confronted the staff and found our property on the cleaning cart!! Management was unhelpful, and offered zero help!!! Warning do not stay at this hotel!!!!

The included breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit, omelettes, pancakes, smoothies, chilaquiles etc. The room was decent, bed very comfortable. Wifi was very poor, some evenings we couldn’t connect at all or it was so slow that it was unusable. Despite there being a parking lot for Casa Mexicana we were told that we could not park our scooter there!! Maybe because we didn't rent it through them. Right at the front door there is major construction going on right now and likely for a while, since apparently the whole road is being rebuilt.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights. We were greeted by a very genuine staff member with a drink and that hospitality continued for the entire stay. The management has done an excellent job of hiring friendly outgoing people which makes your stay so much more enjoyable. The breakfast was very good and available right up to 1130 should you be a late riser. I spoke with a few other guest who have stayed at Casa many times as they were divers and it’s perfect for that clientele. We enjoyed the pool area and watched the sun come up in a quiet environment. There is large construction in front of the hotel but it didn’t affect our enjoyment of Casa Mexicana. We come to Cozumel often for diving and would not hesitate booking here again!

The staff was extremely nice and helpful! For that reason alone we’d come back again. The breakfast in the morning was delicious! Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Location was good. For the money, this is one of the best values in Cozumel. Our stay included a made to order breakfast which was so good and the staff serving us were wonderful. So many restaurants within walking distance and the view of the ocean was great. Close to everything. The pool and lobby area was spotless with people constantly cleaning the public areas.

This place really feels like home. The staff is nothing short incredible. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast hosted by Vincent and Cynthia, and our favorite cook Elizabeth was fantastic. We never get tired of what is served at the breakfast area. We will definitely be back again, and again.
