excellent choice for annual girls' trip! 5 women

Posted Feb 2, 2016
Pros: Food choices Convenience
Cons: We were surprised the Chi hairdryers were not more powerful Remove limit on points to be used for the spa
Location: Excellent location. Left the resort 2 evenings for shopping. Safe/convenient area. Close to airport. Friend went running in either direction w/o issue
Very clean facility. Amazing service from ALL employees. Excellent food (3 restaurants plus 24 hr room service and pool side options). Great beverage selection at all bars. Convenient location (close to airport, short walk to tourist area). Tremendous value for the money. We didn't use the resort credits due to the 16% taxes/fees. The jaccuzzi in the room was unnecessary for us and took up space that could have been used otherwise

Great time at Cozumel Palace

Posted Jan 31, 2016
Pros: great staff - saw to every need.
Cons: too much pushing to do a timeshare presentation as soon as you walk into the door
Location: easy walking to to lots of shopping - found a new place specializing in craft beers - la international cervezeria - nice Mexican microbrews
Our first stay at an all-inclusive resort was fabulous! The food from the different restaurants and the daily events made it a very pleasurable stay. and being able to hop a dive boat on the property was great! We only ventured out of the resort a few times, renting a car from in the resort and driving around the island ( stop by Señor Iguanas for lunch on the other side of Cozumel, nice and relaxing - we stopped by the popular Coconuts, but it was crowded with a long line). Have Ricardo make you a Mayan Coffee at the Italian Restaurant!

Overall a very wonderful experience! The food and drinks were better than we expected and this is a great place to stay if your goal is diving.

A Great Vacation

Posted Jan 13, 2016
I would recommend the Cozumel Palace to anyone looking to be pampered with excellent staff and a great location. It is within walking distance to the city. No beach on this part of the island but every room is ocean front. You can take a ferry to their sister property or rent a scooter if you must have a beach. Every staff member was helpful and took care of our needs. The property was in good condition although it is obviously older than some. All in all I hope to do it all again!

1階は最悪

Posted Jan 5, 2016
Pros:

Hotel Credits Are Very Misleading

Posted Jan 2, 2016
Okay, it's an all-inclusive, so I wasn't expecting great food. It was okay, but we ate out every night after the first to get food worthy of a vacation. There are a couple of bigger problems, however. We booked three rooms and were given $1500 in hotel credit dollars for each room to spend. That's $4,500 in total. The problem is that there is almost nothing to spend the hotel dollars on. You are only allowed to spend $300 per room on the spa, and the other $1,200 for each room essentially goes unused. Other guests were also complaining about the bait and switch. We should have known better when we called a couple of days before the trip to inquire about excursions and were recommended one that wouldn't accept hotel credits. Even the golf they supposedly offer is not even on Cozumel island. Another irritating issue is that there are large cracks under the thin doors to the rooms and every noise in the hall, even the smallest, sounds like its in your room. You can hear every conversation and people walking on the hard floors. Like my son commented, "First person up at the hotel means everyone is up." The bottom line here is that we all felt a bit abused by the experience and most certainly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Fabulous

Posted Dec 22, 2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: Price is higher than other resorts, but we love the people here.
Location: Jeep rides, walking distance to shops, and snorkeling, swimming with the sting rays, and swimming with the dolphins.
This resort is fabulous. The hotel is clean, fun, and great food. The people really make the stay absolutely great. We love the extra amenities with the room credits! We loved all the food and drinks. The bartenders are so fun to be around and all the staff are friendly and helpful. This was our 2nd time to stay here and the staff remember you. They learn your name and it makes the stay more personable. The entertainment every night is fun and enjoyable too.

Very nice all-inclusive

Posted Dec 17, 2015
Pros: The location, good food, and helpful, attentive staff.
Location: Located downtown, it's easy access to shopping, restaurants, and the harbor. We went on a dinner cruise and took the ferry to Playa del Carmen.
Probably the best all-inclusive at which we've stayed. Located in town, which I liked. Hotel overlooks the harbor side of the island, so it does not have a beach. That was not important to us, but some people may find that a drawback. The pool area is lovely: has plenty of lounge chairs; a restaurant (serves sandwiches, wraps, etc.); a swim-up bar, and a very attentive staff. The food was surprisingly good, and they have room service, which seems unusual for an all-inclusive. The hotel is not new, but it is very well maintained. I can't say enough about the friendly, attentive staff. Highly recommend this hotel.

great dive hotel, convenient and central location

Posted Dec 15, 2015
Pros: Location and dive shop, great sunsets.
Cons: The food.
This was our first stay in Cozumel. Very well kept hotel, and excellent service staff. Hotel is setup up well for divers, and very helpful dive shop. We enjoyed the central location and easy walking distance to tourist shops, restaurants as well as local large grocery/household stores right across street. Service/staff were was great. The food was hit and miss, definitely ask the wait staff what they recommend.
