We arrived at the resort at 2:00PM for check-in. There were around 40 teenage kids from a soccer club checking into the resort. We were told to have a seat and they would check us in after the kids. I asked if we could have a drink or some water while we wait and was told no we needed to check-in first. An hour later they checked us in and told us our room was not ready to come back in a couple of hours. We asked to make reservations at the one nice restaurant for dinner that night an were told there was no more reservations for dinner that night available. How can there be no reservations available when it is just now check-in time? We were also told we may not get reservations to the only nice restaurant because they have eliminated some tables due to Covid. I checked the restaurant and the number of tables is as it has always been in the past?
