Cons- We ordered a room with a queen bed, ended up getting two twin beds. No waiters coming around taking drink orders. Had to walk to the bar. Reservation system for restaurants was horrible. Pools were just okay. Pros- food was better than other all inclusive resorts that we've stayed at. 5 minutes to downtown. Nice beach.

Smaller, quiet hotel on a great beach

Cons: The adult pool was freezing, only went in once.
Location: This is on the north side of the island. There is nothing near it besides other homes and one large resort. Cab ride is $5 US into town.
My husband and I stayed for 5 nights. We loved this place and will be back. The beach is great, the staff is excellent, the views were amazing. Many more Canadians here than Americans. And no young spring breakers. More of an older, fun, not so obnoxious crowd.

Just got back from staying at Melia for a week and had a wonderful time here. Could not ask for a friendlier staff! Ocean view rooms lead right up to the beach which was real nice. Drinks and food were excellent! Only minor complaint would be cooler pool water temps, would be nice if they had heated pools but from what I've heard most resorts on Cozumel don't heat their pools. Bottom line, I will be heading back at some point in the future. Place was great!

Beautiful resort with a nice sandy beach. Water is stirred up most of time, been there in July and December and both times water is very brown and cloudy but clears just out from the shore. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Plenty of activities if that's your thing or easy to relax and chill if that's what you prefer. The food is great compared to most resorts I've been to, hence the reason I'm a return guest. Rooms are nice, large, and well kept up by the staff daily. Absolutely nothing to complain about here!

    Pros: Everything close to beach.
Location: close to airport and sandy beach. Most beaches on Cozumel are very rocky and course sand.
Nice beach but waves very rough on this beach and have to go down beach past a pier to snorkel in front of a neighboring hotel. Snorkeling there is pretty good. Very close to airport. Only 10 minute taxi ride. Very nice and relaxing resort.

Pros: Slow season, we had peace and quiet on the side we were on! STAFF WAS AMAZING and FRIENDLY!
Cons: HOT food! When you say all inclusive, certain drinks shouldn't be cut from it at 6 pm. Comfortable pillows. Comfortable chairs to sit out on the pr
Location: Location was great. Walked the beach. Took taxis to the ferry and to do some shopping.
Close to white sandy beach! Food was luke warm at best at the buffet. Couldn't get any red drinks after 6, which upset my fiancé because she couldn't have bloody marys, strawberry margaritas.....which are all she does drink. Considering we did all inclusive, it sure didn't seem like it. Pillows were not comfortable at all. Chairs to sit on outside the terrace of the room, were not comfortable.

    Great resort for relaxing

Pros: 15 minutes from airport, super clean and great set up for kids, with an activity centre, mini golf, game zone, game room, outdoor playground, etc.
Cons: buffet was not kid friendly and food was at best lukewarm, strong musty odour when using air-conditioning.
Location: snorkeling. Cozumel was a 95 pesos cab ride away with lots of shops, restaurants, etc.
This is a smaller resort that is kept in great repair and super clean. If you are looking for relaxation it is perfect. If you are seeking a diverse menu and good night life / bar scene I would select a different resort. The beach is great and you can swim and snorkel from shore. We traveled first week of December and the resort did not have a lot of people which meant it was not unusual to be the only family at the pool and you had your pick of lounge chairs beach side.
