Convenient location

Posted Sep 19, 2017
We had several activities in the Cranberry area, and this hotel was conveniently located for all events. It is close to restaurants and stores, and has an easy access. We were pleased with the service and the amenities of the hotel.

Location is good.

Posted Sep 16, 2017
Pros: Comfortable bed and a nice room.... Rates could have been little lower ... I have stayed in Comfort Inn at a lower rate!!!
Cons: Hire more friendly staff for the front desk. ( Note: The lady who was there on September 6th midnight was really nice.....)
Location: malls, restaurants .... nothing much to do in that area...
Attitude of the front desk staff on September 7th morning around 9:42am is really rude ... Breakfast is good. Condition of the room is good. No one cleaned the room or replaced the towels or remove the garbage on the 8th morning. I had to cancel the hotel only due to the attitude of the front desk staff. I will not go back in there. I am not affected in anyway. I can only laugh at such people who do not care for their customers. I am in the Service Industry and I know how I treat my customers and hence, I felt the training or the attitude can be improved.....I do not want you all to post my remarks. Just letting you know so that you can improve in this area.....

Great welcome

Posted Sep 1, 2017
Pros: A little hard to find the right entrance off of the highway, but very welcoming once I had arrived
Cons: Less waste of resources. Front desk staff better informed about the breakfast buffet
Location: Very centrally located
Check in was fast and friendly although breakfast description turned out to be somewhat inaccurate, there was no bacon; no a deal breaker though as there was sausage, eggs and pancakes as well as yogurt, milk, juice, oatmeal, etc. The room was lit, cool and welcoming when I opened the door, although I was a little startled to hear voices coming from my room before I opened the door, upon entering however, I say that the TV had been turned on for me. Not sure why, I felt that the Tv and lights on was a bit wasteful on the hotels part, I would rather have a slightly better rate and walk in to a quiet dark room than to pay more because resources are being wasted needlessly. The bed was very comfortable and the carpets were plush and clean. Signage in the halls was a little confusing, but I managed to find my after only one wrong turn. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, Comfortable, Good Price

Posted Aug 28, 2017
Pros: Clean, good breakfast and the bistro.
The hotel was recently refurbished so the rooms are new and very clean. They have added a bistro/bar. They don't have room service but are happy to pack your meal to go so you can eat in your room. Breakfast bar was very good. Would stay there again.

A very nice property

Posted Aug 22, 2017
Pros: Convenience and free breakfast.
Cons: Maid service could use a major upgrade.
Location: It is very close to I-79 to I-279 to downtown Pittsburgh, about a 20 minute drive. Close to sports stadiums. There are numerous nearby restaurants.
This is a very nice property that is conveniently located only minutes from the Pa. Turnpike in Cranberry Twp. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is standard fare with scrambled eggs all three mornings and either sausage, sausage gravy and biscuits or bacon as the meat option. There is also fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, hot cereal and muffins, bagels or English muffins. They have a pancake maker set up, but it was not in use during my three day stay. My only complaint is that the room cleaning is very sparse. No bedding changes and no real cleaning in the bathroom. They simply replace the used towels and wash clothes. I don't think they even ran a sweeper in the room during our stay. For the price I paid $79.00 on Expedia, it was a good value, but not quite 3-star. There is no pool, in or out.

Very Nice Hotel

Posted Aug 11, 2017
Pros: Everything about the Hotel was great except for reservations!
Cons: It is unclear why I had two confirmed room reservations from Expedia but the Hotel had only one! This needs to be improved!
Location: The Location is fine and there are many things to visit in nearby Pittsburgh!
My overall experience was fine except for one problem which presented itself! We had confirmed reservations through Expedia for two rooms. Upon arriving late at night after traveling through a rain storm, we were advised by the Hotel receptionist that they only had a reservation for one room. Fortunately, another room was available but I shudder to think what I would have had to put my family through if we had to look for another hotel that night in a rainstorm.

comfortable beds

Posted Jun 1, 2017 on Hotels
We stay here several times a year when we travel to the east coast. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is consistently good. We will continue to stay at the Holiday Inn in Cranberry.
