Ups and Downs

The reception staff was amazing. They go beyond to help you and make you feel comfortable and happy, however the room cleanliness was terrible. Hairs everywhere, you could definitely say that the sheets were not changed and the bathroom not very well cleaned.

Well meaning but a mess

Pros: The common area and outdoor patio are very attractive and comfortable. The pool is small and could be cleaner, but pleasant.
Cons: Almost everything. See above.
The staff at this hotel is friendly, earnest, and well meaning. However, the hotel is very poorly run and chaotic. First evening I checked in, I found leftover Chinese food from the previous guest in my room fridge. Also, black hairs on the bathroom floor, which were definitely not mine. Housekeeping is very erratic, with fresh toiletries and toilet paper being left on some days but not on others. No shower caps or laundry bags. They're also very sparing with their stiff, scratchy towels. No quarters for laundry available at the front desk. At the breakfast buffet on a busy Saturday morning, the staff began to whip everything away on the stroke of 10:00, when breakfast ends, despite the fact that many people still had waffles in the waffle iron, toast in the toaster, etc. On Sunday morning, they ran out of plates and on Monday morning, there was next to no food available. On Saturday night, an extremely rowdy of crowd of young men stood at the front entrance, pushing each other and pouring beer over one another's heads and the staff didn't stop them. As I said, the staff seems to really want to do a good job, but I don't think they know how to run a hotel.

comfortable hotel with large rooms

Pros: kitchen area.
Cons: Add queen beds to the rooms, doubles are not comfortable these days. Try to get of wall to wall carpeting also as a lot of hotels going to laminates.
I picked this place as I was looking for a hotel close to airport for a flight home the next day. It is kind of out of the way from the airport by 10km so don't stay here and expect a shuttle to the airport. Luckily we kept the rental car so not a problem. Hotel has good accommodation for a family with a kitchen and eating area and living room area. I appreciated that after a week in hotel rooms. It is strange how they had double beds instead of queens as the bedroom is large enough to handle two queens. Also large pink stain on carpet.

Reserved Double Bed got Single instead

Reserved a Double Bed and got a Single Bed instead. We were 2 Adults 2 Kid and had to cramp ourselves into a Single Bed. Definitely not a comfortable stay. The suite was very small. The two rooms connected via Restroom. Horrible layout of the rooms. Small Kitchen was cramped in a corner. Beds were not clean. Not the usual Homewood Suites you see otherwise. No ample parking spaces. Some cars were parked on the street. Breakfast was mediocre although helping staff were courteous. Didn't feel safe as the Hotel side doors were not locked. Any stranger can enter. Only two towels provided in total. Not my Best Hotel experience and never returning. Wont recommend to anyone.

Looks can be deceiving

Upon arrival I was very impressed with the hotel, however that changed quickly. My room smelled like dogs had been in it and even my refrigerator and freezer. It was so bad that my children told us that the freezer smelled like dogs. The shower wouldn't turn off ... we had to fight to get it off and then back on. The sofa bed didn't have ANY linen on it.. and when we called for linens the front desk was nasty and made us wait at least 30 minutes.. when we called back the young lady was nasty!!!! She finally brought the linens and didn't include the fitted sheet... when I called back for the fitted sheet she was nasty again! I finally had to get nasty back and her attitude changed. At this point, I'm very disappointed because we travel from NC and was hoping this was the place we can stay when we come up to visit. One last thing that disturbed me was that people were bringing their dogs in the area where the food was prepared and it was allowed. I don't think I would ever stay here again and would never recommend that anyone stay there.

IT WAS JUST OK FIRST DAY PLUMPING DOSE NOT WORK, TV DON`T WORK, BUGS, THE ROOM WAS NOT CLEANED ON THE SECOND DAY.
