“Albergo Sala was a unique experience in the small village of Valbrona. It was quiet and not much to do but that's what we were looking for. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was wonderful. The inn is historic and has been in the family for a few hundred years! As it is off the beaten track it is advisable to have a car as public transport is infrequent and challenging and taxi service is quite expensive. Aside from that it was a great place to stay a few days.”

Our breakfast was delivered to our room every morning and was always perfect. The view was breathtaking and never got old. The rooms are beautiful and kept spotless. The staff was so good to us and always made sure we were happy. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Lake Como. So beautiful and peaceful.”
