Efficient

Simple, quiet, convenient gas station next door, places to eat, beautiful lake/pond and a grocery store a couple miles down the road Wood floors seem more hygienic than carpet.

Convenient but not clean

Posted Oct 19, 2016 on Hotels
Half updated, half falling apart and gross. There are faux wood floors which are probably a great help keeping the bugs at bay. I noticed the doorknob falling off. The bathroom vent falling down and the large hole behind the shower head and thought 'well atleast there are no bugs' and out from the broken bathroom door knob came a cockroach. He skittered all of the door, up on the ceiling, then finally retreated to his home in a bug gap between the tub and the wall. I called the front desk, exhausted after 14 hours of driving and knowing I didn't have energy at 11 pm to go find a new hotel. She just kept telling me that they clean. 'Will cockroach be in the bed with me?' 'We clean everyday' 'that doesn't tell me my chances of uninvited guests in my bed' 'there shouldn't be any bugs, we clean everyday' 'well maybe you need to plug the holes up?' Then she told me it's the south, bugs are a part of life, and that was that. Not even a partial discount on my room. I sat down on the bed and it made a terrible metal spring wrenching noise. I thought it was broken but no, any movereat on the bed made that loud screeching noise. I slept in my clothes, didn't shower, and left at 5 am. Worst hotel experience, not even good for one night.

Fine stay for the price

Posted Jul 11, 2016 on Hotels
For a cheap nights stay its a good choice. Definitely what I would label a "no frills" hotel. The room was in OK shape, its what you should expect for the price. It is right next to a gas station and semi truck parking lot so it can be kinda noisy.
