Great time

You can really see all the effort they put in. We had a great time and I highly recommend it for a nice romantic escape. Room was fun, food was great and the grounds were very well maintained. We had fun at the pool, nightclub and doing the couple activities.

Can't wait until our next vacation so we can do much more we didn't get a chance to do to much because we needed the rest but next time we will do moer

Lost potential

Pros: Room
Very nice room with so many activities at the resort. Unfortunately almost all of the activities were broken and in disrepair and many completely unusable. We found ourselves travelling off site for entertainment and returning only to use the room. It would function as a nice hotel room, but fails as a resort. Such a shame too, as there were tons of potential for activities as well as group events that were all lost. A little TLC would have gone a long way or simply remove the broken activities and go in a different direction- anything other than promote broken and useless activities.

Nice resort but needs updating

Pros: That the facilities like pools and hot tub were available 24hrs
Cons: More food options, more restaurants or snack bars that stay open later
Location: Not much, only a casino
First impression was wow so much red , carpeting and tiles . How ever it grew on us . Indoor pool in our room was great , clean and just the right temperature . Unfortunately we kept getting wasps in the pool room and spiders in the bedroom. Told the front desk , said they would send someone to check it out . On our last night I was bite while sleeping , unknown by what , my neck and jaw swelled up . Took Benadryl that the front desk gave me ,at no charge. When I got back to our room ,I was stung in the shoulder by a wasp. I'm allergic to bee stings , so to the ER we went .

We're very sorry to read your suite had an issue with insects. This is unusual, as we have routine pest control performed in order to take preventative measures against this from happening. Location: Shopping is great over 100 outlet stores

Hotel overpriced and in need of upgrade

I have never been to one of the pocono resorts and I will not return. The rate we paid was not worth it. The dinner was not good, breakfast was ok, but the property itself is very outdated. The activities scheduled for couples did not have many attendees and the host had to put a lot of effort into getting the attendees to participate.

Nice hotel in Cresco, PA.

Our check in was okay, we waited a few minutes for our room and the girl at the concierge was nice, but she seemed a bit rushed and overwhelmed with the amount of people checking in. They should get more staff for check in to ease the process and this way the concierge could smile more, when receiving their guests. Our room The Garden of Eden was clean and comfortable, yet the rooms need some updating/refurbishing. The outdoor pool was spacious and the water temperature just right. We enjoyed the activities on the resort such as tennis, paddle boat and the hiking trail etc Breakfast and dinner were acceptable. Definitely not at NYC standards, but okay. Spooners always had fun entertainment such as comedians, magician, band, DJ and good drinks. We enjoyed our stay, yet the resort could use some improvements such as renovating their rooms/refurbishing them, more detail to food preparation and train their staff to be more welcoming to their customers. Waitress Maria and Nicki were excellent and always greeted us with a smile. Not sure if we'd return. If they update their property perhaps we would return.

Nice romantic place

Hotel staff was pretty cool.. room was kinda out dated they need new rugs , The Gym equipment was broke but the had a nice hot tub and pool area bar was very nice as well great parking overall I will stay here again. I stay at the lakeview this time..

The staff was great, as well as the food. The room smelled musty when you first walked in. The walls on pool in the room were not real clean. Some of the buildings seemed run down (sections of outside walls falling apart) and out dated. Not what we expected for the price.
