I give 2 stars to the pleasant employee. There was a smell throughout the hotel that wasn't particularly pleasant to me but maybe others would have no problems with it. I remove a star for the gigantic spider i had to kill in my room. I remove one star for a $5 per day fee that i was told had nothing to do with Expedia but i couldn't get a straight answer what it was for. Signs posted you could get change for the washer at the front. Nope no change and no detergent in Vending machine. Waffle machine not working for breakfast and no alternate choices with over one hour to go with breakfast. i probably should have given 2 stars but it is a super 8 so who can i blame but myself

I booked the suite for myself, husband and three children for Thanksgiving week. Hotel manager told us we could not use the pull out bed provided in the suite as it was dangerous with springs sticking out. Would not provide any solutions on a safer option for my children to sleep. They said that only couples stay in suites not family’s. Would not give us extra pillows or blankets until we called the super 8 corporate number. Did not provide a crib. Was told it’s illegal for more than two people to stay in the hotel room due to Covid. Disrespectful staff. I am still waiting on a refund because we did not stay our full stay because the conditions and environment was so outrageous. I’m doubting I ever see my money again and am going to dispute charges via bank. When we were checking out at 9am no one was available or working at the front desk to give us our $30 winnings from the slots. I called for assistance and they told me they were taking a shower and to come back at 11am to get our winnings. Absolutely ridiculous. 0/10 recommend. I travel ALL THE TIME and this was by far the worst customer service I’ve ever received. Trust me, stay ANYWHERE ELSE. This place is a dump.

STINKY hotel
The first thing I noticed was the smell inside the hotel. It permeates the lobby and the rooms are not much better. The breakfast was average, and was cleaned up a half hour before it was supposed to be closed on the second day. One of the employees had a puppy that was allowed on top of the breakfast tables I saw on my way out one morning. Not impressed with my stay.

HOTEL STAY NEVER AGAIN!!!
BEWARE.... READ ALL REVIEWS UNDER THE HOTEL SITE AND YOU WILL SEE WHY TO AVOID THIS HOTEL!! When I booked the hotel I thought I was booking under our Wyndhams site. I couldn't see because I booked through my phone. We will NEVER EVER STAY HERE AGAIN!! First off this is a popular area for incoming college students, you would expect the treatment to be better. So first off, if you just want a place to lay your head down to sleep then go ahead and pay your money. It was late, we drove 13 hours, gentleman asked for our card he ran it supposedly it declined we gave him a second it declined. I was frustrated how both were declined. I asked the gentleman can you run a debit he kept cutting me off. My husband said we will pay cash then. There was am atm between 2 slot machines in there lobby. He stated there was no money in it. So there we were running to an atm to pull out the money. Frustrated we finally took car of the bill, got to the room. Now I have nothing negative against culture. But do expect to walk into a wall to wall mural of "The last super in the main lobby" and a bible on every table for breakfast. It's just a description of what to expect. And complimentary breakfast.... lol yeah right... I understand it's free. But don't advertise it if you plan on not hosting it from past photos. We woke up went downstairs to waterdown waffle mix and syrup. 2 choices of cereal, and I think I saw 2 slices of toast. Juice and coffee. Towels were stained, The rooms were clean.

This Super 8 is in a very small community so other services are limited. They need to have a brochure showing what eating establishments are available. The property and my room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Air conditioner worked great even with it being nearly 100 degrees outside.

Stairs were difficult (no elevator). Grab bars in the tub/shower would be very helpful. The room was very nice, and the check-in individual was friendly and helpful.

This was the worst front desk service I have ever experienced in decades of travel. After traveling through 4 states, my family and I arrived at 1:20 PM. There was no one at the front desk but there was a phone to call for help. Phone was answered and I advised them I needed to check in. Their response was just “2”. I again stated I needed to check in and the man said “check is at 2”. I said there is no early check in? (I was willing to pay a fee,although I have arrived 2 hours early at other hotels in area that didn’t charge a dime). They said no. I hung up phone and left. We were forced to wait an hour. Shortly after 2PM , I checked in. I was asked for ID and credit card which I handed over. Usually the front desk will tell you how much of a hold they’re putting in card. This person didn’t. They just handed my stuff back so I asked, did you put a hold on my card. They said no, we put a deposit. I asked for how much? They said $100! This was an excessive deposit for only one night as the room was only $110. He said in case I smoke or break something. At this point I’m extremely annoyed and brought up the no early check in policy. He just shrugged his shoulders because he could care less. Also another party we know staying at the same hotel was not asked for a deposit. The room was ok. Only 2 small pillows on bed. Hair on bed sheets (not ours). Towels that were supposed to be white were more yellow in color. Only 3 bath towels for 4 people.
