Welsh Hotel Stay overPosted Jun 24, 2015 on Hotels
Requested a sea view room & although the hotel was not busy. Writen request not met or referred to at check in. The bathroom was in poor condition & the shower hardly worked. However the owners were lovely & the breakfast was first class. - mixed review. A few improvements & it would be a fabulous Hotel.

Not the Ritz, but warm and welcomePosted Nov 1, 2014 on Hotels
Hotel is clean and tidy, although a lick of paint would do it the world of good. Warm welcome, comfortable bed and a nice breakfast. If you're not expecting the Ritz then you will be fine. Competitive price and cracking views to the castle and seaward. Would stay here again if in the area.

Reasonably good all roundPosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Good welcome and the couple running the hotel pleasant and friendly. Good breakfast
Location: Strongly recommend a trip of the Welsh Highland Railway
Large old sea-front house converted into hotel so big bedroom with old -fashioned furniture to suit the syle of the house, plenty of storage space but little shelf space in the bathroom which had an awkward step up to reach the toilet and bath.
