“Nice clean rooms. Small but acceptable breakfast ”

“The moment we walked in the door the first word we said was " Wow". The decor was tastefully done with attention to detail. The wall of windows looking out to the lake was a favorite as we would watch the sunset and the wildlife. The kitchen kitchen was well equipped. Everything was thought out. Wood for the fireplace and the firepit. Little things in the kitchen that we didn't have to go out and purchase like, coffee, tea etc. This place is super clean and private. We felt we could walk around……

“Our stay was not typical. First the location is great, lots of room, big deck, peaceful lakeside. We had to cut our stay short because of a recurring issue with a gas leak. The owner lives in Las Vegas. Responses to phone msg and texts varied. This would not have been a big problem except for the urgency of our particular situation. Coordination issues with local caretaker/utilities ultimately contributed to our early departure. There was an initial attempt to repair but the problem reoccured.……

“When i got there, at first glance, the room looked and smelled really good until i got to the bathroom. The toilet and shower were not cleaned from the last people who stayed because there was poop stains in the toilet and hair in the shower drain and a dried up soap bar on the ledge of the shower. The garbage had used Q tips and kleenex left in it. It was gross.”

“I liked this place and I'd definitely stay again in the future. I really appreciated the continental breakfast; there's a waffle maker, hot savory foods, and lots of the good stuff you would need for breakfast. The pool/ hot tub was nice! I also appreciate the rooms with a balcony view of the lake, it's a nice view. The staff was very kind! My only complaint is the bed/mattress was very uncomfortable and hard. This is not a new/modern hotel this place is comforting and cozy. They're doing a……
