“Chambre agréable personnel serviable et sympathique Lieu très agréable ”

“This is a charming property. The main building is very modern, but comfortable, with lovely decor and great beds. The exterior rooms in the older part of the property are classically exposed stone walls and wooden beams, rely on single wall heaters, and also have very comfy beds. Our family had a fantastic experience, though did move from an exterior room with terrace to an interior room with no terrace to be warmer. (It was December and literally freezing outside!) we found the entire staff to……

The host was welcoming & friendly and very informative, helping us with suggestions of restaurants and sites to see as well as some history on her home which has been in her family for 18 generations. Having come from busy, crowded and loud Paris (which we loved as well), Château de la Giraudière was exactly what we needed next; quiet, fresh air and a small village environment.
