Let down by bathroom

Pros: Convenient for trams and town,reception desk staff very helpful and breakfast tasty.
Cons: Cleanliness of the bathroom and bed mattress very soft.Road to the reception could be cleared of litter as it gives a very poor first impression.
Location: Near to town,shops and public transport
Check in very efficient and staff helpful but disappointed with the bathroom clenliness because of the mould round the shower tray.

Average hotel near metro and shops

Suited our travel itinerary but not close to London downtown if you're staying longer. Found the beds hard but Hotel said they were new. One of the better breakfasts we've had at Holiday Inn Express. Staff was helpful but seemed slow- phoned 3 times for an additional bath towel since we had 3 ppl but only 2 towels. Finally had to go pick it up myself. But they sure tried hard.

Good quality budget hotel.

Pros: Location, breakfast, comfort and relaxed. No noise at night and it felt very secure.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Location suited us for travel to and from tennis at Wimbledon.
Checked in by Florentina who was very efficient and welcoming. Room comfortable and very very clean. Breakfast was super, provided everything we required including gluten free options.

This hotel is fare of meeting standard

One elevator was down on a check in and check out and it took forever to get in and out. The AC was not working and we had to change room. The bedding was poor and need to be changed and the shower have mold. The breakfast would be ok if it was enough staff to maintain it as it was missing everything and took at least a good twenty minutes to get eggs. The croissants never arrived! Not well organized.

Brilliant. And only 20 mins on a train to London Hotel was hiding away but walking distance from east Croydon train station All staff lovely. Pleasant polite and efficient

My Go To Hotel In Croydon

Whenever I'm In London, I Always End Up Staying At This Hotel. The Staff Are Very Friendly. They Already Know Me Everytime I Come, Which Is Very Comforting And Sweet. I Really Enjoy The Breakfast. My Favorite Is The Baked Beans! It's Close By Everything...Food, Shops, Mall, Transporation, Etc. When I Got To The Hotel This Time Around, I Had To Wait Because It Wasn't Check In Time, But I've Never Had An Issue Before Arriving Prior To That Time. Once They Found An Available Room For Me I Had To Be Quickly Changed Into Another Room Because That Room Wasn't Ready As They Were Still Fixing The Toilet. I Had To Go Back Downstairs With All My Luggages And Wait For Them To Find Me Another Room. I Must've Waited For About No More Than 15-20 Mins. The Receptionist Gave Me A Free Voucher Where I Was Able To Get A Free Drink And Crisps Of My Choice. In My Room There Were Blank Lints On My Bedding And Some Towels But Wasn't Such A Big Deal. I Would Reccommend Staying Here Regardless. Till Next Time...Thank You!

Chaos

Fire alarm went off , lift stil being used during this no staff about to explain procedure guests everywhere no explanation no apology, was a drunk guest who set it off and was then allowed to roam around the hotel

I was very disappointed as I had requested red roses and Champagne in the room upon arrival and it was missed.
