We stayed one night. While the hotel is “old florida” it was very clean, bed was comfy and employees super nice. The location was perfect. Beautiful sunset right on the water. The restaurant next door had great food. I’d stay there again, no problem.

The location and staff were excellent. The hotel is charming old Florida. Will Definity be planning another trip to stay at this hotel again. The website says breakfast included, in all honesty its not breakfast for us (pastry and coffee) The location is perfect and close to so many attractions and restaurants. The hotel is Definity old and a bit run down. But for a casual beach weekend it works. Even though it is old and outdated, we will be staying there again instead of the newer fancier big hotel chains.

Clean and great view. Not fancy, but acceptable for price range. Staff extremely nice. A/C in room needs to have thermostat checked, constantly came on and so room was pretty cold most of the time. Needs better fitting sheets.

The view from the room was fantastic. The room was very large. The on site restaurant was super. Best cob salad and burger was fantastic. Wife allergic to seafood, otherwise I would have gone for an item from the water. Memorable stay.

Great place & great staff, Perfect location with many options for fun. Rooms old & worn, barly any water pressure hot water takes time upstairs. weird Tv ??? After I got it going rain storm knocked it off line?

Very old. Probably built in the early 60’s and not much has been done to it. I didn’t expect much for the price but we would have left if we hadn’t been tired. Reminded me of a “hideout” in the movies. It was clean smelling and bed was ok. Breakfast was a sparse grab and go little Debbie type sweet rolls with some over ripe bananas and apples. Tried to support a local owner rather than a chain but will be more careful in the future.

Location was excellent. Staff excellent but room was rough with extremely dirty carpets. To the point I would not walk on them in bare feet?

Great waterfront view!!!! If you are looking for something on the water with a view this is it! There is marina access, so even if you dont have a boat you can set up a sunset cruise or swim with the manatees. There is a restaurant and a separate dock bar. Close to town. The hotel is older, limited amenities and outdated but room was clean. Friendly and helpfull front desk staff! All rooms face the water with balconies or patio so you have a view of the sunset. Definitely recommend The Port Hotel.

Dog friendly room with carpet in the room, our dogs are potty pad trained but we still blocked them from carpeted area using a chair, a garbage can and the doggie tent we brougt, god knows how many dogs used the carpet for #1 and #2, the place is going to be demolished and replaced with a merriot so why bother with replacing carpet for lanolium floors, also from 10.pm till 3.am ish, a loud generator parked in front cleaning a grease trap for the restaurant? When i complained in the morning, they said take it up with the restaurant, got home and washed my dogs and relaxed. I felt like i went camping

I was very pleased with this resort. Was EXACTLY as described my some others. Older building, not in pristine condition. You can't beat the location!!! Overall i felt this was a great value!! I had dinner at the restaurant and went to Tiki bar. Both were nice, and menu just different vibe. Wish i had realized their water activity options ahead of time.

I booked this hotel because of it's location and bay views and it did not disappoint. Sunsets from the balcony were wonderful and 3 Sisters was walking distance. The restaurant adjoining the hotel was pretty good too. I heard this older hotel will be demolished in a couple years. Sad to see this icon of "old Florida" go, only to be replaced with a more expensive and less soulful hotel. I'm glad we were able to stay here before modernization encroaches. .

Hidden Gem
Older hotel but room clean and comfortable bed. Staff very supportive. Great window view of Kings Bay and Marina, and nice patio attached to room with private door. Attached restaurant is Waterfront Social. Food and atmosphere was great.

Charming and quiet hotel on the water with bar/restaurant on premises. Beautiful location/view in the middle of "the action" in the Crystal River area. Old building, breakfast was "Sam's Club" type donuts, but it worked for us.

Cool old retro 60s waterfront motel (Elvis slept here) looking out over King Spring and bird-haunted Banana Island, with a surprisingly good restaurant on site. A classic Florida vibe, harder and harder to come by.
