Great hotelPosted Dec 17, 2017
Pros: Good rooms and service of staff.
Cons: Beach front not very accessible and too quite on a nighttime. There is a bus shuttle into town but if it ran more often it would be better.
Location: You need a taxi to get anywhere and not much outside of the hotel.
This was part of a multi centre trip. The hotel was very nice and well worth the price. The location is good but not much available around the hotel. The beach is not really accessible but the pool is good. To enjoy an evening out you need to get a taxi into town. The price of the taxi is minimal and can cost less if you use Uber.

TiredPosted Oct 27, 2017
3 times we have stayed at this resort. Lovely gardens and surrounds however rooms are very tired and need some TLC certainly not deserving of a 5 star rating. Breakfast nice and staff friendly. There is alot better on offer in Hoi An. Also they charged 3 times the amount for pick up from the airport, suggestion grab a cab would be far cheaper and to return go across the road to the lovely shop owners they supply great transport cheap cheap. Won’t stay here again

Great ResortPosted Sep 4, 2017
Pros: Rooms are spacious and clean, grounds are lovely and extremely well maintained
Cons: Food in restaurants is average - apart from breakfast
Location: Golden Lotus is great for food and cooking school. Tamarind Tree at An Bang was the best meal we had in Vietnam - tiny little cafe but delicious!
Second time we have stayed at Palm Garden Resort. It has a lovely outdoor pool and beach area so you can get the free shuttle to Hoi An and have a meal or shop then return to relax at the resort. Breakfasts are great but we had average meals at the restaurant here but there are lovely restaurants just across the road (Golden Lotus) that are a fraction of the price and twice as good!
Definitely worth staying atPosted Aug 6, 2017 on Hotels
Had a very enjoyable 3 nights. Gorgeous beach for swimming in clear, warm water. Had a added benefit of receiving a very much appreciated upgrade. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. A few local restaurants across the road for dinner if you want a change.

Nice hotel right next to the beachPosted Jul 31, 2017
Pros: Wonderful friendly staff always happy to assist with whatever you need. Lovely grounds and surroundings.
Location: Very easier to get a very inexpensive taxi into the nearby town when you want a change of scenery and activity.
A great stay always starts with a fabulous welcome and complimentary drink and that is precisely what we got at the Palm Garden Beach Resort & Spa. Will happily stay here next time when our family returns to Hoi An.

Right on the beachPosted Jun 29, 2017
Pros: Location , breakfast
Cons: See above
Location: On the beach, free shuttle to ancient town, attractions in Da Nang
Spent 4 nights here, great location, great breakfasts, great layout, comfortable rooms. Nice staff. Huge pool, water was very warm so not refreshing but you cant fight mother nature when its 40c every day!! Would love to see more lighting at night, irons in the rooms (though one was provided within 10 minutes of asking) and like other resorts here, better schedules on the free shuttle to town and more affordable food in the restaurants. Highly recommend

Great service, value, and locationPosted Jun 27, 2017 on Hotels
We had a lovely time at the hotel, for a quick two-night getaway. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed (would be great if the floors are upgraded to wood at the next renovation, and there is greater water pressure in the bath tub, but these are minor quibbles). Everyone was friendly and eager to help, and the restaurant was great (we stuck with Vietnamese cuisine). Room, food, and services are very reasonably priced. The only things I would change about the hotel: (1) more frequent shuttles into the town (although a taxi is only US $5, so no big deal), and (2) an ATM on site. I've stayed at luxury brands (e.g., Four Seasons, RC, Intercontinental), and it's really hard to justify spending $400 more per night when the Palm Garden probably has about 90% of those guys do.

Amazing resort with private beachPosted Jun 26, 2017 on Hotels
Amazing resort with private beach, swimming pool and welcoming staff. The hotel also provides a wonderful breakfast, and has free shuttles to Hoi An. The resort area is spacious and very well maintained, and there is plenty of shade (really important in a 40C weather!). The only drawback was the layout of the bungalow room. It is really big, but there is a bath tub in the middle of the living room (which I found bizarre). At the same time the bathroom/shower area is fairly small and is separated from the main area by a glass door, so there is not much privacy there. Other than that, this is a great place for a nice and relaxing vacation.
