Excellent downtown hotel!Posted Feb 25, 2018
Pros: The whole experienc eworked and was seamlless- the staff managed the difficulties of evacuating for an earthquake briliantly.
Cons: The bathtub
Location: Perfectly centrally located.
I stayed here, for 5 mights for a conference and some in city sight seeing. I love the location of this hotel - central and with many great restaurants and museums the within easy walking distance. The hotel had excellent secuity to the comfort of this single woman and the staff were uniformly friendly, outgoing and yet conscious of not getting in the way! I expereinced the 2 recent earthquakes during my stay ànd while they can do nothing about the event the staff certainly were very careful with their clients and the security and organized re-entry was excellent! The food service - both in restaurants and room service was excellent. They managed to get my roomservice meal to me hot! The only problem was the bathtub area. The whole bathroom had been updated except the bathtub. The marble was old, and faded, the bathtub was very old and very deep with a very high stepover - I am a 65 year old woman and very short! This was very difficult - not impossible but a stress to keep myself safe!

Loved this hotel and its locationPosted Jan 16, 2018
Pros: Clean and good location
Great place to stay either for family or business. The hotel is very clean, room facilities are the best, great coffee machine which is easy to make two different cups in parallel - one decaf and one regular, as my wife and I needed. Very good wifi, needed to sign in only once and it worked well for our five days stay. The location is very good, both for the immediate and further walking areas. In front, there is a large park and many local stalls open for many hours. Simple walk through a pedestrian mall to the Zocalo and the historic city. Early morning cab drive to the airport was an amazing 15 minutes ride... Good for everyone.

We paid much more than what we were quoted in Expedia. We should have paid in advance rather than in the hotel.

Friendly staffPosted Jan 10, 2018
Staff were friendly and accommodating. They speak Spanish but automatically converts into English when they realize the person has a hard time speaking Spanish (I have Hispanic last name and tries to but speaks limited Spanish).

Everything about it is nice. Coffee in the room, walking distance from the historical part of town, markets across the streets, lots of shops and restaurant walking distance.

Close to historic central areaPosted Jan 5, 2018
Hotel located at the beginning of Reforma. Great experience seeing local daily activities, close to the park and metro station. Self walking tour toward Historic center of Mexico City by using Ave 5 De Mayo was very interesting.
