Good Location

Near Venice and Santa Monica. Near 405. Nice breakfast not gourmet but good for quick meal. Quick checkin and checkout. Overall good experience and good price.

Liked the location! Room was not bad, fairly clean

Posted Aug 15, 2015
Pros: Large room, fairly clean, some friendly staff!! Location!!
Cons: All staff friendlier! A little cleaner! overall not a bad place to stay!
Location: Location for the beaches was great! Knottsberry Farm, Hollyhood.blvd.
Not bad! The room at least was larger! Some of the staff was friendly! We were grateful for taking us in since Travelodge next door was horrible. Travelodge was a terrible experience! Would never stay there again!

Pros: Die Parkplätze im Schatten

You need to be a sound sleeper

Posted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: Bed was comfortable. Also the nearby wine bar/Italian eatery was yummy.
Cons: Sound proofing. Carpet could stand to be cleaned.
Location: It's a decent location depending on what part of LA you are visiting; close to freeways and plenty of restaurants and services nearby.
Between cars, trucks and aid units racing past on the busy street outside the motel to guests slamming car doors and motel room doors at all hours of the night and early morning -- plus loud conversations late into the night on the exterior walkways by inconsiderate guests -- had a lot of trouble sleeping. We also got a kick out of the "mini mart" the motel advertises. When I asked the clerk where it was, she pointed me to a vending machine off the lobby.

Had such a great time, we stayed in LA for 3 days after a two week road trip. So just chilled out down at Santa Monica.

Hotel changed

Posted Jun 17, 2015
We have stayed at this hotel many times because staff is wonderful, and it was convenient. They have recently undergone a renovation which has resulted in a price increase and my room looked as if a child renovated it. The dresser had the handles on the inside of the drawers. There was still was plaster on carpet, there was no light above the sink, there were no chairs, no closet to hang your garments in, and I had to ask for a trash can.

It depends upon what you are going there for.

I have never stayed in a room where there were no towel bars in the bathroom, really, not a single one! Both the room and bathroom were quite large compared to normal but I think it was because we were staying in the room adjacent to Sepulveda Blvd. where the building is wider than the rest of it. The location is good and close to most Los Angeles destinations. I was there to go to USC graduation and being closr to the freeway entrance was a plus. The free breakfast was sparse but typical. Not the kind of place to stay if you are going to hang around, the neighborhood isn't anything special, but if you are going to get in, sleep and depart to other destinations this place is not bad. We arrived late and left early so there isn't much else to say.

"Fitness" room is the worst I've seen

Posted May 15, 2015 on Hotels
So called "fitness room" is not much larger than a walk-in closet. Equipment consisted of a stationary bike that did not work, a few dumbbells and a run down treadmill. I selected this place because of the fitness room, so disappointing to say the least.
