Good for the price

Not too bad for a place in Culver City. The beds are overly firm and WiFi is spotty. Like so many LA hotels and motels, the "free breakfast" is lacking.

It could have been better. Needs new carpeting. Breakfast was lousy. But it was kept clean.

Good value motel on the westside of L.A.

Sunburst is really a fairly basic motel (forget the spa, etc.). The rooms are on the large size. The bed was comfortable. The location is directly across the street from the 405 - which is usually clogged with traffic. But you can get around it on streets. Access to the whole west side is easy. The price is very reasonable. Of course, there are trade-offs: no coffeemaker, thin linens, a slightly gritty street, a very minimal breakfast. But there are pluses for the price: a microwave, a good refrigerator, and stores are relatively near (Trader Joe's, etc.). The heater/air conditioner is loud, though personally I was happy with white noise (the freeway is near). Parking is very good for L.A. Service was pretty good, though I suspect the housekeeper doesn't have an extension to vacuum edges.

Expected a lot more for the price.

The room was very dusty. The lamp shades and side tables where covered in dust. The bed was very hard. The night desk attendant was very rude. Our remote was not working so i called the front desk. The attendant was very annoyed and sounded as if i was bothering him. He finally came and and gave me a new remote, told me the instructions where in the box and to set it up my self then left. For the price and descriptions on their website i expected a lot more. I will not be staying again, nor do i recomend it to anyone i know.

Would go back

Pros: Room was great!
Cons: Wifi
Location: Not great walking area but a few nice restaurants you can go to without a car.
Clean, comfortable but iffy Wifi. Worked on my laptop but not my mobile device. Seemed to have some security issues.
