We were put in a room that didn’t have a working TV. We didn’t get here until after 6pm and had to leave to meet a family member. Tried calling the front desk but no answer so had to go down to the front desk The women her checked us in came up to try and fix it but couldn’t and offered to have us change rooms. We were unable to do it right then because we were already late so she said we could move when we get back. We got back after 10pm and instead of moving next door to lm me we

Fine for short stay. Reasonable price. Dated but clean rooms. Staff was polite and accommodating. Not sure about safety/24/7 front desk staffing. Didn’t see anyone at desk most of the time I entered. So anyone could come in and go up elevator to the rooms at night. Excellent restaurant next door.

This is a good property. And the price was reasonable. However, the traffic noise was only outdone by me being on the second floor and on the third floor somebody decided to be dancing all night long. So if you’re going to stay here and get the truly inexpensive rate for LA then you should be on the third floor so that you don’t hear people dancing all night, other than that, it was great. Thank you.

I requested for an early check in and was charged $50 for a 2 hour early check in. I had checked with them on the phone if I could check in early and one of them said there are many rooms available and that it should be no trouble to do an early check in. But the other staff that checked me in charged me and I had to wait till some arbitrary time for a room that was clearly cleaned days before. I had done early checkins to other hotels. The staff are usually accommodating to early checkins and don’t charge any extra if there are rooms available. If no rooms are available, they would just say that upfront, so that I can plan my travels accordingly. I ended up overpaying for a horrible room and service.

Decent Lodging
OK, when I booked it, I did forget that it was a motel. Seeing that it was a motel, it was not terrible. The only problem in my opinion was the walls were very thin and we could hear the people next-door very clearly. But it was overall clean, and if you need a place to stay, it’s not the worst. They’ve got rid of the carpet and put in fake hardwood on the floors and the rooms were overall fairly clean, although ours had a very strong scent of cigarette smoke.

Having lived in this part of LA, for my whole life, visiting feels different now that we have moved away. We stayed at this hotel because we had to move from the first one near LAX. This is basically like putting lipstick on a pig. It’s clean enough, the room was very large and had large beds. It’s not the ritz but it’s also not a dump. The folks who worked there were nice enough for the minimal interaction we had with them. The location is pretty central to the west side and quiet enough when we were there. Nothing special, somewhat over priced but cheaper than others. Would I stay there again? If I absolutely had to. Otherwise, not a first choice.

extensive mold/milder in walls
Check in initially smooth but room we were given was mold/mildew ridden. All bathroom walls had wallpaper coming off with thick,black mold present. This was not a small area from shower spill, but entire walls. We asked for a different room and only one they had bordered the initial one and had same problem(not as extensive) We were told no other rooms available and we wanted to cancel our stay. We were very happy with Hotels.com help online getting this to happen with full refund. Health Dept should check this place out

This was a rough rough rough stay. Beyond being there only five minutes, and a janitor barging in without knocking. Then the phone didn't work, despite the front desk calling mulitple times...so we could receive calls, but didn't have the ability to answer. The alarm clock in the room someone had set for 2am, and we couldn't fix it, norm unplug it. Oh, and someone else's hair was everywhere. After complaining, all they could do was offer us a new room
