Beautiful Home!
The oak wood work has been beautifully restored and the decorative touches transport you to another time. The house has plenty of room for a family stay or group of friends and is warm and comfortable - several sitting areas. The host was very helpful and accessible. Nicely furnished kitchen with modern amenities. Great place to stay!

Stepping Back in Time with Elegance
The property was beautiful and the location ideal for a stay in the Cumberland area. It was a perfect property to have our Family Thanksgiving with its large, well appointed kitchen and large dining area. The private parking area off the street was a welcome surprise. We enjoyed all the antique furnishings and 3-story layout to accommodate all of us. The views of Cumberland and the surrounding mountains can't be beat. Both the owner and housekeeping made sure everything was welcoming and they both provided their direct contact information for any questions or needs. We will definitely stay at this property again.

Perfect Getaway
Spent 3 days for my wife’s 50th bday. Her parents and my parents all stayed. We had PLENTY of room to distance, if we chose to, and even had our own bathrooms. Plenty to do including; driving through the neighborhood to check out the beautiful homes, head to the casino or even take a walk through the cemetery that is half a block away.. We did all of those, including just having food delivered one night and stayed in to enjoy the comforts of the house. Awesome experience all around.

Loved it
Great weekend in this large, comfortable historic house!

5/5 Excellent

Beautifully restored old home - large enough for a family gathering
This is an old home that has been restored. The big things I look at are the cleanliness and the bathrooms . Both were great. Nice water pressure too! You could easily host Thanksgiving for your family here. Kitchen looks like it has everything you need and it’s big with the main kitchen, and a side kitchen with sink and dishwasher. Multiple sitting rooms plus large main living room. Quick walk into the downtown restaurant area and some great restaurants. Especially like Ristorante Ottaviani for dinner and Corner Cafe for breakfast (takeout). The bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors - so there are stairs. We drove to see the Flight 93 Memorial - about 45 minutes away- totally worth it. Nice deck overlooking the side street and lovely plantings. High up on a hill so beautiful views. It’s a great place to stay. Enjoy!
