Excellent B&B with great hosts and first class breakfasts. Stayed whilst on business locally and cannot recommend enough.

Lovely B&B - if only everywhere was like this!Posted Aug 22, 2016 on Hotels
I can't recommend this place highly enough. Really sweet little cottage in Ravenglass. Beautifully furnished with lots of original features. My room was the single and across the hallway was a large private bathroom with a bath and shower head from the taps. The room was comfortable and tasteful;y decorated with quality bed linen and lovely touches including bottled water, a fruit plate, a chocolate and coffee bag, hot chocolate etc. The breakfast was cooked freshly to order and again lovely quality with locally sourced produce and jam made from fruit from the garden. It was a treat to have a little night of luxury and I very much enjoyed my stay in this lovely, relaxing place. Thank you.

Top quality BnBPosted Aug 21, 2016 on Hotels
Top quality BnB in a lovely peaceful location in a pretty village. Rooms very tastefully decorated - bathroom of 5 star hotel quality. Friendly and helpful owners that clearly know what they are doing! Top quality breakfast made with locally sourced ingredients including home-made jams and yoghurt which was a real treat to set up a days walking in the stunning local countryside. Have already recommended the Bay Horse to family and friends and would definitely stay again.

A lovely B&B in a very picturesque location. Elaine is a very welcoming host. Lots of nice touches in the room, including fruit and bottled water. TV a bit small. Great breakfast, using local produce.

Try it!!Posted Jul 29, 2016 on Hotels
Fantastic. Breakfast was great, service was top notch and the views of the estuary from just outside the front door are beautiful. Highly recommended. Things to do in and around Ravenglass: Have a ride on the Ratty steam train Eat in "The inn at Ravenglass" if you like seafood, or try "The Ratty Arm's" for good put grub and a great atmosphere. Visit Muncaster Castle. Take a picnic and spend all day there.
