Unclean horrid rooms overpriced

Unclean room leaking toilet with sewage dirty coffe table sink mirrors fungus on lamps stained sheet dirty towels got my room switched and none the better Never going again Overpriced for uncleanliness They should be reported Stopped take bf pictures of room was so upsetting No hotel shuttle to airport crap considering the price per room with poor ocean view and not even all inclusive Far from town best to stay there if you want to move around if you want the beach go elsewhere that's clean

rooms are uncomfortable

Pros: The beach and quiet cove were great. I would return to the hotel just for this feature.
Cons: Old dock that needs to be repaired. Dangerous and disappointing
AC was terrible. The room stayed humid and had to be kept very low to be comfortable - but then it was too cold! Definitely needs updating. Not what I expected from Hilton.

Awesome team, Aging facilities

Second time at this hotel. The wonderful people who work there remembered us and made it feel at home. Property is beautiful with a great gym. However the hotel itself seriously needs investment. The carpets look old, many missing lightbulbs. Cable TV was on and off then on again. The fire alarm pull handle was hanging off the wall on the fourth floor.

Nice staff and pleasant hotel

Location: Use Caribbean Seasports diving company at the Hilton. They are very good and will do all they can to provide a great dive experience.
The Hilton is a nice location, good dive operation on site. The staff are very friendly and helpful even when they are super busy with events. The on site restaurants are good but not also not many other choices nearby. Hotel is dated but is retro nice. Pool and beach are very nice. Pleasant stay.

Beautiful location and beach, terrible service.

Location is one of the best on the island. Hotel service is the worst! Had MANY issues with room, desk staff, restaurant staff and housekeeping. Upon check in the FD agent put us exactly in the room we communicated to her we were trying to avoid. Not allowed to switch rooms til two days later. All rooms reek like mildew and upon further inspection, the vents were completely black covered in black mold. Obviously have never been cleaned, pumping in toxic air. We felt sick the entire stay inhaling mold. In the USA this hotel would have been shut down immediately due to health hazards. Housekeeping very unaccomodating in every respect. Sometimes downright rude. Similar experiences in all outlets with service level. Someone spilled a cup of coffee next to our table during a very busy brunch. This was attended to and cleaned up until 30 min later. Meanwhile we had to get up and step over each time to get to the buffet. Heard similar service complaints from many other guest. It seems the first answer is no, followed by an immediate rebuttal and counter argument from the staff. Very exhausting and not what we expected from a Hilton. The Curacao Hilton does NOT live up to the name and service and we are HH members and have stayed at many other worldwide properties. It's a shame, this hotel has so much potential, particular with that location. However, ALL service level and room health issues need to be addressed first, including ripping out the mildew carpet and cleaning each vent.

OK but nothing special

Cons: updating entire property
Location: Location was nice. $15.00 taxi ride to town (about 15 minutes) Walking distance to Pirate Bay Restaurant on the beach. Many good restaurants downtown
Time-worn. Pealing/faded paint & plaster on exterior. Bathroom smelled like urine. Food was sub-par as was service in Cielo restaurant.

Hotel in need of Repairs

Pros: Beach Front / Great Food
Cons: Hotel rooms need renovations
Location: Lots to do on site - Beach / pool / spa / tennis / Bars Need to rent a car to get to malls and to town. Taxis are more expensive.
The rooms are in dire need of renovation. There was flaking paint, rusty doors, broken bathroom fittings and a strong smoky odour. We paid too much money for be given such a substandard hotel room. I usually stay at Hilton hotels and grew accustomed to the high standard offered. This hotel however left me utterly disappointed. Besides the hotel room, everything else was good. The restaurants offered great food, the pools and beaches were very relaxing and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
