“Positives... Accessible stop off point Free parking WiFi Tasty breakfast Small and personal accommodation (5 rooms?) Clean bedding Cute terrace area outside rooms Tea and coffee in room TV with free view, worked well. Soft pillows and bedding Heater supplied, if needed. Pubs a short drive away. Host was welcoming. It was 200 miles from my stay in Cornwall, so I stayed after visiting two tourist spots, on my way home. Negatives Woken up in night by a talking sensor outside (4am to 5.30am) Walls……

“What a wonderful gem! The staff were so lovely and helpful, the room was huge with a beautiful view, and I absolutely loved the breakfast, you can really tell how much care goes into everything. I would highly recommend the Hood Arms. Thank you for such a lovely stay! My only suggestion would be to add a full-length mirror 😉”

“Lovely stay breakfast was delicious and staff very attentive. Room was modern but had a few cosmetic issues such as tape on laminate flooring and a shower screen that didn't stop the water from pouring out. It didn’t affect our stay but from a glance minor repairs could be made. Would still happily book again as location and breakfast alone was well worth it ”
