"The property was a very typical Costa Rican Lodge. Beautiful location along a very nice river, off the beaten track away from loud city noise. The convenience of offering rafting, tubing, zip lining rappelling, spa service etc all in one place is very nice. It is reasonably priced for activities and the restaurant is very good. A nice buffet breakfast is included. Nice swim up bar and pool are. Service was prompt. As I stated earlier, the lodge was typical and can use a little updating. It had old school louvered windows and half of them had broken handles to open and close them which made it difficult for the A/C to be of optimum performance. Our entrance door dragged a little on the floor about halfway open, but a little lifting and it opened fully. If would be nice to have a mini fridge in the rooms. Hot water worked well! Overall, I really liked the place though. Staff was very friendly and the grounds were very pretty. I will be back with the kids next time to enjoy the activities offered. "

"We stayed here after driving through the main strip and seeing the amazing nightlife. This hotel is nothing fancy but it’s perfect. The beds were perfect, air worked great; the shower was the only downside (it was small and a little awkward) but the room and property itself was actually quite comfortable. It was perfect for our needs. If you’re in CR - you should be outside anyways haha. We stayed with our 5 year old daughter and felt safe. We had a balcony room that faces a soccer field and were able to see kids playing. This hotel is one block from the beach and it’s truly a gem. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was delicious! The restaurant/pool area is a great vibe and we loved it. I would absolutely stay here again if we were in this area. We came from SoCal and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. There is also a market attached too that is open until 10 that has snacks and alcohol if needed. "

"This was our first time in Costa Rica and this resort was a great place to stay. The views are breathtaking and the resort was very well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful and the resort is less than a half hour from Liberia airport. The only thing I will say is that there wasn’t much entertainment at the resort like I’ve experienced in other all inclusive a such as activities, shows, etc. however if you are looking for a relaxing, beautiful, and clean place to stay for a reasonable price this is it! "

"Awesome resort !! Great food choices , not too crowded , family friendly .. only suggestion is to bring water shoes or more flip flops .. the cobble stones were very hot when walking around pool areas barefoot…I Burnt my feet walking on them especially at the water park ( got a few blisters) "
