Excellent stay

Posted Oct 3, 2017
Staff are amazing. Food is good. The building is beautiful and well situated. The main sites are just a few minutes away. We had two separate stays: one night before and one night after our visit to Machu Pichu. We were able to store our luggage for a few nights free of charge (no big bags allowed on the Peru rail trains). The rooms are well appointed. Hot water is reliable. As other reviewers have pointed out, this is an older building, it lacks a pool or gym, and the rooms have no view. These are no deal breakers for me when My main objective is to explore the city and its surroundings. I found the rooms, and the service, above my expectations and very good value for money.

Excellent hotel, close to amenities.

Posted Oct 2, 2017
The Hotel and staff are great, very helpful. Great breakfast every morning, and a variety of healthy foods. The rooms don't have oxygen, however you can request one for your room from reception. It's only provided for 10 minutes at a time, but it's all you need. You can also purchase one for your room for your whole stay for 35 to 40 soles. Your body will take about two days to settle to the new heights without the need of oxygen, so it is up to you. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Pros: the bed
Cons: nothing
Location: there are plenty museums and plaza's to see around this hotel (lots of restaurants).
This was a very nice hotel! I was put here by a travel group while I was here in Cusco and they chose an excellent place. the rooms were very clean and the beds were VERY comfortable!

Great in all categories

Posted Sep 11, 2017
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Plaza de Armas, Inca Ruins, Food, Entertainment, Churches.
Bottom line, there are a ton of hotels in Cusco. This property is great. The staff was excellent. They even arranged a private taxi tour of the Sacred Valley... for a VERY good price. I only too one recommendation for restaurants, but it was great. And while I never ate at the restaurant it looked good and remained busy. For the price we paid, I felt like it was an excellent value. My only tip.... spend more time in Cusco, it's a great city!

Noisy choice

Posted Sep 11, 2017
Location, building and staff are welcoming however the set up makes for a loud and noisy experience with constant disruptions throughout the night. We changed room the second night but was not that much better. For the price we paid didn't feel we got much in return.

Yes Casa Andina but not "Premium"!

Posted Aug 10, 2017
Pros: The building is beautiful in the heart of Cusco.
Cons: Customer service needs improvement. They should be aware of their programs. I feel when you book with Expedia they do not give you the best rooms.
I stayed in the Casa Andina Premium in Arequipa last year and it was far and away better! Casa Andina sent me a link to "iPrefer" and I joined based on their request. The hotel did not honour this and I had to produce the email. There were no upgrades or additional features. The first room offered was unacceptable and we asked to be moved. After consulting with the manager we were then offered high speed Internet ( as shown in the iPrefer card). I thought our stay included breakfast - they said it did not (54 soles per person and not great). There was no complimentary water and no amenities. I am not sure why they call themselves "Premium".

Excellent high end hotel with all the amenities that a frequent traveller requires. Reliable WiFi, TV with international channels, free breakfast (cooked to order if requested) and friendly staff. Close to good restaurants, shops and sites.
