Affordable, reliable with AMAZING staff!

Posted Dec 4, 2017
Having stayed here more than once I have nothing but good things to say. Rooms are great, breakfast is amazing for being totally included in the price, the restaurant has the most breathtaking view at night and the staff are brilliant. Polo Cusco Suites staff went over and beyond to help me out during my stay. Being on a budget this hotel is more than affordable. Totally recommend!!

Conveniently located, good price, friendly staff, clean, well-maintained. Not 5-star luxury, but definitely a pretty decent place.

Think twice before staying here

Posted Nov 27, 2017
My wife and I trusted reviews and photos on Expedia and booked this hotel for our stay in Cusco. We would have left the hotel the minute we checked in but we had paid in full for 7 nights thru Expedia and would not have received any refund. Our room did not have toiletries, the shower was broken, staff was reluctant to assist and did not speak English. We had to call every day to have things repaired or brought to our room. The lobby and bar looked nice but that was about it. The room was outdated, no bathroom door, zero sound proof in walls and you can hear people walk and "loudly go about their business at night". One can't rest at night after excursions and trips in town. It was a very disappointing experience with this hotel. The city is lovely and great and we focused on enjoying what it had to offer. Look elsewhere when booking your stay in Cusco.

Excellent!

The staff was great and very attentive; they made you feel as if you were at home! My only complaint is that the doors were very thin and you could hear when other guests were in the hall, talking, walking, ect. The breakfast was also very good! I overall enjoyed my experience in this hotel: it was a very pleasant experience!

High end comfort outside the city center

Posted Nov 20, 2017
Pros: Breakfast, room maintenance, staff
Thi 12 floor building is gorgeous and it well kept. It is about a ten minute walk from the cathedral and justice center, and maybe 15 minutes from the plaza de armas. About $1-2 cab ride. After visiting these areas, however, it was clear that being outside the tourist hubbub was a significant advantage. It's much quieter and there are fewer people trying to sell you things and begging for your business. The staff was incredible, and provided an extra space heater when needed. Breakfast was on the top floor 12 stories up, with a beautiful view of the city and totally included.

Near airport and not on a steep hill

Posted Sep 29, 2017
Pros: The convenient location to airport, the restarants spectacular view and service of staff
Cons: The hotel needs to install "sound machines" to emit white noise or other to mute the traffic noise.
Location: Located on a noisey traffic congested street. Main tourist area is 8 blocks away. Easy walk.
This hotel is near the airport and is modern & updated. I spent 2 weeks in Cusco's "charming, boutique" style hotels that were on such stee p hills, I had to give up on walking after day tours. This hotel is on flat ground and 6-8 blocks of easy walking to main tourist area. It is located on a noisey main street and the noise is annoying until about 2 am. You will need ear plugs to sleep!.. The busy street is a scene from the every day lives of locals going about their bussiness. The stores cater to the locals. You will be immersed in Cusco, not isolated in tourist zrea. The restarant is on the 12th floor with glass windows giving you the most spectacular view of Cusco! And the food was very good.

Clean hotel that is relatively new with only a 15 minute walk to the historical center of Cuzco.Plenty of restaurants and shops along the way to choose from...Hotel is close to transportation options such as the train station, cabs, and airport.. Free breakfast and Wi-Fi provided on a daily basis.

Nice Hotel - Quiet Room even if on main Street

Posted Sep 26, 2017
Pros: Restaurant, location close to airport
Location: airport
Stayed for one night on our way back to LIMA - one of the highest hotels in the area (12 floors). A very beautiful view from the top floor (#12) and this is also the location of the restaurant . Room above average large and clean. I would say in comparison to the other hotel we stayed (el Puma), this hotel is a half a star better. The location is on a busy street and about 2 miles from the airport. You need to walk a bit to get to the market for souvenirs. This is were the location of the El Puma hotel is better,

Great hotel

Posted Aug 27, 2017
Pros: Great view, good food.
Location: Approximately 6 blocks from Plaza De Armas and other attractions.
Great hotel. Not too far from Plazas de Armas and other attractions. Restaurant has a great rooftop view. One thing stood out. I had gotten sick because of the altitude during a tour. When we got back to the hotel, it was very late. (Approx. 10:00 PM). My girlfriend called down the front desk to inquire about a 24 hour pharmacy. Not only did the front desk inform us that there was, but they sent someone to pick up the specific medication I needed. They went out of their way for me. If I come back to Cusco, I will be staying at this hotel.
