Nice hotel with friendly staff

Posted Apr 10, 2017
The hotel is very close to the main plaza, the room was very clean, the staff super friendly. There are shops and restaurants very close to the hotel. The room was renovated, the beds were confortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to spend a few days in Cusco.

Dear Guest: Thank you for taking the time to share your impressions regarding your stay at our hotel Casa Andina Classic Cusco Plaza. I am pleased so good comments regarding the care of our team. Also, I'm glad you have been properly rest in your room. On the other hand, I would tell that breakfast we offer in our hotels in the Classic brand belongs to the standard of the chain, which consists of varieties of breads, cheeses and hams, yoghurts, juices and hot options. Similarly, we regret that you found it not very varied. Rest assured that we have shared your comments with the areas involved to evaluate alternatives for improvement. We hope to have the opportunity to receive it again. Best regards, Evelin Chalco Hotel manager

Excellent value, location and staff

Posted Nov 19, 2016
Pros: Location, staff assistance with tours, taxis, laundry and advice. Room quality and cleanliness.
Cons: Warnings of possible musical celebrations that occur in the public square at night.
Location: This hotel is directly behind the main town square (Plaza de Armas) of the historical section of Cusco. Close to all the main sites and restaurants.
Emerson and Jovar, our concierges, were excellent and extremely helpful and accommodating. Due to our intervening trip to Machu Picchu we actually needed to check-in and out twice in a short period of time and each time it was very smooth and quick. On our second stay they even gave us an upgraded room at no extra charge. They arranged several taxis for us and always let us know what the fare should be so that we weren't overcharged.

Great location! Good value.

Posted Nov 10, 2016
Pros: Located just around the corner from Plaza De Armes, the hotel was very convenient. While the rooms are small everything was clean and adequate. The included breakfast was very good and had a nice selection although it did not change.
Cons: Biggest complaint was the sewage smell coming from drain in bathroom. Also our room was located against an access outside stair and people were up and down all night. The rooms are not well insulated and hall noises also made it hard to sleep. Minor complaint is no dresser in room so you live out of a suitcase.
Location: We walked everywhere from our hotel. Everything you could want - restaurants, stores, museums ect. We're close at hand.

Disappointed that free Wi-Fi available on in lounge area. I believe the room was a bit over priced and that if they are going to charge what they do they do not need to charge for bottled water in the room.

GoodLocation, Friendly Staff, Small Room,

Posted Oct 27, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: No charge for wifi
Location: Local market, San Pedro is a must visit.
My wife and I recently stayed here for a one night lay over. The hotel was centrally located and close to the plaza and local market. The local market, San Pedro is well worth the 4 -5 block walk from the hotel. The staff was friendly and we had requested a king bed but they were only able to accommodate us with a double bed. The room was small but very clean. The hotel charges about $5/day for in room wifi service. Wifi free in lobby area. If you are planning on staying multiply nights make sure you get a bigger room.

In the heart of the city, therefore close to everything you need. Bus Tour departs from across the street. Totally recommend it! :)

Great location, nice staff

Posted May 14, 2016
Pros: The excellent staff! Their service was exceptional. From the laundry service to the housekeepers to the desk staff all were very helpful and friendly
Cons: Breakfast was not as good as other hotels.
Location: Several historical sites, high end alpaca stores and good restaurants within walking distance on flat ground.
This hotel is located on block from the Plaza de Armas near the Plaza Regocigio. It's modern streamlined interior is a refreshing contrast to the bustle of downtown Cuzco. The staff speak English and are very knowledgeable and helpful. A good choice for a single woman traveler or anyone worried about problems with altitude sickness (have an elevator).

Nice hotel, Great Central Location

Posted May 14, 2016
Pros: Location and cleanliness.
Cons: Something to reduce the noise from the hallways. Perhaps some plants, as the floors are tiled.
This hotel is in a fantastic location. It has modern facilities, and is kept immaculately clean. The only minor negative is that the hallways are tiled and the noise carries to the rooms. Being so central to Plaza de Armas, easy access to all that Cusco has to offer is within walking distance. Many restaurants, artisan markets, travel agents and laundry services are only a couple of minutes away.
