Nice boutique hotel

Posted May 9, 2017
Great little boutique hotel. Very friendly staff. I loved our 3 person room, which included stairs to second level where 2 more beds were. Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast with fresh bread, fruit, juices, yogurt, and eggs made to order. Staff were awesome. I used their laundry facility, was also nice. Drink lots of the free coco tea!

Interesting hotel close to main square

We stayed in the main suite which looked as if it had been recently renovated. It was very comfortable and clean.

Dear Helen, Thank you for your comment, we are grateful. We strive to make the guest's stay satisfactory, our hotel is always renovating and innovating, so every year we have something different. Our infrastructure has something special since it has the mixture of the Inca and the colonial this gives a different touch. We hope to remain your first choice on your next visit to our city. Great Small and Unusual Hotel

Posted Mar 22, 2017
Pros: Ambiance and the excellent staff
Location: Too many things to list here. Cuzco is a "must see" place, and Arqueologo is an excellent place to stay while visitng.
At the edge of the Centro Historico, the Arqueologo is a fine place to base when visiting Cuzco and nearby places. In an old patrician mansion, the decor is fascinating, the rooms are quiet and comfortable and the staff is very accommodating. A good breakfast is served in a cheerful breakfast room, and the bar is most inviting on a chilly evening. It was a serendipitous find on Expedia when I booked. I most certainly will book there again should I return to Cuzco for another visit.

Thank you for your comment, we are glad to know that I enjoy your stay with us. Our establishment is located in the historical center of Cusco, that is why it has a very peculiar architecture and characteristic of the Inca-colonial. Our cafeteria has a breathtaking view, perfect for breakfast and enjoy the view. The staff is constantly trained, to be able to solve problems or any inconvenience during their stay. We hope you come back, and we will be your first choice in your next visits.

Good value

Posted Mar 20, 2017
Cons: No restaurant or food available in the afternoon/evening, even though the signs say that food can be ordered until 11 pm. Very disappointing.
Lovely building and interior design, close to the historic centre of Cuzco. Comfortable beds.

Thank you for writing your comment, It's unfortunate that you could not enjoy it our restaurant, although it was opened only on March 20th, and the published schedule is from 12:30 to 3:00 pm (lunch) and from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm (dinner). We also have a very diverse theme bar. Our architecture is typical of the Cusco Inca - Colonial which gives it a special touch. We hope to remain your option in your next visits in Cusco. regards

In the heart of Cuzco

Historical hotel, huge rooms, custom- cooked eggs, 3 minutes walk from Plaza des Armes... the main plaza in the historical district. Only issue was water for shower not always ready, but reception alrways fixed. Fluffy comforters, soft beds, gorgeous.

The hotel is very nice, cute location close to center of town and suite was large with newer bathroom. No refrigerator though, and they didn't provide bottled water complimentary...

Stayed here before and after 2 days at Machu Picchu. Hotel held luggage for us. Coca tea available 24/7 for altitude issues -- it absolutely helped. Travel agency affiliated with hotel arranged Machu Picchu and other adventures. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Comfortable and quiet in perfect location in Cusco

Posted Sep 26, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: Beds, location, decor
Beautiful hotel with rooms facing interior courtyards, very quiet and pleasant. Extremely comfortable king-size beds. Good water pressure and 24h hot water in showers. The breakfast is excellent with eggs to order, fruits, juices, variety of breads, a hot potato cheese dish, ham, cheese, yogurt, granola etc. Staff were very helpful and friendly. A few blocks from the Plaza de Armas in the nicest part of central Cusco.

My favorite hotel ever

Posted Sep 21, 2016 on Hotels
This was my favorite hotel that I have ever stayed in. It was a perfect location in Cusco. We easily walked to the the square, market, church, and town. The room was lovely and the heater in the bathroom was a treat for the chilly mornings. I liked you could control the colors in the room lighting. We went to the hotel bar for the free welcome drink and stayed for a while. We did a pisco tasting and the bartender was so knowledgeable. Ask for the corn kernels as a snack- heavenly! The courtyards at night with the lights, fountains, and fire pits was so nice. The back one had a great view of the big lit up Jesus. The restaurant at the hotel also was incredible. The breakfast view was gorgeous and it was quite a breakfast for free! I was beyond impressed with the hotel and my only complaint was we did not stay long enough.
