Disappointing

No wifi available in the rooms. Only thing nice about the hotel is the setting as it's beautiful, Christian the manager and the hotel's resident dog and security guard. Forget everything else. The room was full of bugs, the hot water is intermittent and the restaurant staff don't want to be there. If you're lucky to be staying there while a tour group is present then you will be able to enjoy a great buffet breakfast - as your booking will suggest - however, once they leave you will not as it's not cost effective to offer the same service to regular clients. We were only offered bread and tea and told that there would be no buffet despite it being part of the booking. If you're going to Machu Picchu and coming back late, the staff encourage you to eat in agua caliente as it seems that they'd rather not be bothered for room service. Restaurant is river priced
