The cottage had everything we needed! Such a lovely place. Will definitely come back!
Very Fun Place to stay. Artsy and interesting. The Place Reminded me of an old western saloon. Mike the owner is very personable and a talented artist. Building is combined with an art store, wine tasting, and restaurant so you dont have to go far at all to enjoy many things downtown Dahlonega has ...
This was a cozy cabin perfect for the two of us for a Valentine’s Day weekend getaway. Super close to some awesome hiking on Blood Mountain. Easy to find and easy check in/out. The deck overlooking the river was the perfect place to relax after a hike a spend a beautiful February afternoon.
breakfast was very good. was well worth the trip.
Just what we needed for our trip. Excellent location for us as well.
The room was fine, but the breakfast was horrible! Eggs like rubber, over cooked sausages! Go out for breakfast!
Very nice and very clean,we would stay there again.
Always a pleasant stay in the Churchill suite. Property is ideally located on the Square and near UNG.
Peaches might be the first fruit you think of when you hear Georgia, but this state has a rich-wine history as well. In 1900, Georgia was the fifth-largest producer of wine in the nation. And while its heyday may be long gone, you'll find that its wine-making roots are still strong. Dahlonega and its 16 wineries and vineyards is a great place to get familiar with one of the South's biggest wine regions. However, in between toasting with your friends and making new ones you will need a place to stay. Expedia has 1243 hotels near wineries, making it easy to toast, tour, and take in everything in Dahlonega.
Expedia has some of the best wine resorts in the country. You'll find everything from luxurious resorts with pools, spas, and award-winning bistros to hotels that provide just enough of what you need for a relaxing stay. And whichever one you choose, rest easy knowing that you'll be welcomed with plenty of amenities, a comfy bed, and accommodations not far from Dahlonega's wineries.
After you check out your accommodations, venture out to some of Dahlonega's best wineries. Begin your tour with a visit to Wolf Mountain Winery or Z Brown Craft Distillery (Closed until 2018). After you have had a chance to taste some of these local offerings, continue your tour at Cavender Creek Vineyards & Winery or Montaluce Vineyards. Make sure to take your time at each stop. Just like Dahlonega's wines, each tour should be savored. Tasting local wines while also being surrounded by the vineyards and the people that produced them is a unique experience that not many trips can provide.
Whether you go in during the off-season or during March for the popular Wine Highway Week, Georgia's wine region is one well worth visiting. Your Dahlonega vacation is moments away. Expedia has hotels near wineries with rates from $70 to $110. If you want to find out which lodging might be the best for your Dahlonega wine tour, then make sure to read through our 1271 reviews. These deals won't last long. Reserve soon to get your ideal location for your Dahlonega grape escape.
