Be sure to try the free breakfast, was very delicious. Location is very convenient, close to Akita station. Rooms are a little small but expected. Service of course is great. Would recommend.
The location is good, very near Akita JR station. Staff were friendly and complimentary breakfast was ok.
One thing that we would like to point out, the earthquake of 6.8 scale at Niigata happened during our second night. We could feel the tremor and tried to go down through the emergency staircase, however, it was locked. Tried to call front desk, however the staff on duty that time could not really speak English. There was announcement made in Japanese, but not in English. Eventually one of the staff came up and opened the emergency staircase. We felt that the hotel could do more for foreigners, at least an announcement in English, during an emergency.
The staff was very helpful in helping me with the laundry. The breakfast was great, also had friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was an easy walk from the castle and railway station.
This hotel was a short walk from the train station which was super convenient. And also within walking distance of Senshu park which we enjoyed sight seeing, and there was a festival going on while we were there. The breakfast had a lot of variety.
The hotel is very close to the Rail station, with shops and restaurants along the whole way. There is a very nice shopping mall area along the way. The beds were western style and comfortable.
This was only an overnight stop to break up a long trip but the room was cozy and the free breakfast was perfect. At checkout I left my bags at the reception while I explored the large park (Senshū Koen) which is close to the hotel. The station is an easy walk away even with several bags.
A short walk from the railway station. Very helpful people at the front desk. The front desk is on the second floor, which means that there are two elevator trips when you come in and two when you go out. The breakfast buffet included cornflakes, a plus for me, but it was either chopsticks or a very small spoon, a minus. Despite its downtown location it was very quiet for sleeping.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, but small, for 3 people. However, all the rooms we stayed in during our trp to Japan are small and very clean. Amenities included extra toothbrush and paste, razors, hairdryer, wonderful soaps and shampoo
very close to jr rail station, 5 min walk, used as a stop over to elsewhere, breakfast was reasonable, small room, but of japanese standards, clean and comfy, helpful staff, not much close by for food or sights, but that seems to be akita! would stay again
This hotel was very well priced. It was exactly where the detailed instructions said it was.....easy to find and by using the under pass arrived safe and dry considering it was snowing. Clean comfortable room.Would stay again.
