Terrible hotel for vacations

Posted Aug 23, 2015
The lock on the door was broken when asked for another room I was told that I would have to wait until another room was available which was uncomfortable for me and my children. Staff did not speak English well and was not very friendly. Rooms did not look safe.

Stinky hotel

Posted Aug 17, 2015
The only good thing about this hotel is it was close to Sixflags. The second my family and I stepped into the elevator we noticed a pungent musky smoke smell. That nauseating smell was worse in the hallway leading to our room. After a long day at Sixflags we just wanted to relax and have a shower but, there were no bath towels in the room. A car alarm was going off until 3 am and kids running around all night. Needless to say we didn't get any rest or sleep. Worst hotel experience ever!

Perfect

So close to Six Flags: it took longer to drive there than it would have to walk. Beds were UBER comfortable and the pool opened nice and early so we could swim before leaving the next morning.

Terrible Hotel!

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: nothing
Cons: Honest advertisement on the conditions of the hotel, informed & honest employees, comfortable roll away beds, tvs that have all of the chanels
Location: Six Flags, Rangers, Hurricane Harbor
This hotel is not what was described on Expedia's website. I needed a room for 5 people. The room we got would have been suitable for 2. The clerk at the front desk tried to swindle me for the cost of a roll away bed. I explained to him that I requested the roll away bed via Expedia and there was no charge. He laughed at me and said, "OK. I won't charge you this time." Then, I read in the hotel information book that all roll away beds and cribs are complimentary! Once the roll away bed was delivered to our room, we discovered there was no room to open it. If the bed was open, no one could walk around in the room. It blocked what little space there was to get to the bathroom. To make things worse, the mattress on the roll away bed as horrible. None of us were able to sleep on it. Lastly, some of the channels on our tv didn't work, even though they were listed on the hotel tv channel guide. I called the front desk to complain and the young man had no idea how to help me. This hotel is a disgrace. I'm embarrassed that I paid $89 to stay there.

Customer service was terrible, maids could not speak english. The person working at front desk had his feet on counter and cell phone in hand, did not make eye contact when asked questions. Was not courtesy at all. The rooms were dated and dirty!

A nice clean comfortable place to stay.

Pros: Close proximity to Six Flags, Rangers ballpark and Cowboy stadium. Several good restaurants within a couple of blocks.
Cons: Only one guest receptionist so check-in is a little slow.
Location: Six Flags over Texas, Texas Rangers ballpark, AT&T (Cowboys) stadium, Water Rampage
We really enjoyed our stay at the Baymont hotel. The Baymont is close to Six Flags, Rangers stadium and Cowboys stadium. There are several restaurants located within a block or two. The hotel furnished us with trolley passes to and from Rangers stadium, which was very appreciated. The room was comfortable, good air conditioner as well as a ceiling fan. We have already recommended this hotel to several people who are booking for upcoming Dallas Cowboys games.

Okay overall, friendly staff with great parking and a good location. Great breakfast. Booked a king non smoking but received a double non smoking on a smoking floor. Ice machine was out on our floor but would stay again.
